I'm of the opinion that letting the enemy followers burn to death incrementally on a sizelock is bad since it gives the opponent a chance to get back into the game when one of their followers die, but you haven't stacked enough damage to win outright. Having the option of the crackdown increases your chances of victory for the precise situations where your deck or health is getting low and you need to end it before you get ended.
Also, wind slash is a strong combo with single-on-attack ability followers. And at least 1 misfortune is great later in the game in case you can only kill one of their massive-size behemoths.
I think there's only 2 characters you can viably build this kind of deck is. One is rose, the other is clarice. Both are academy :/
You can just build lago and transmute it for the lulz. You can transmute 1 drare per day despite what the gui says of 1 per week.

Wow lignig size up deck is so annoying. I played 3 cards at the start and literally never got to play another one.
So I got 4-3 in ladder today. Got stomped by Brandon and very barely lost to Ghum. Didn't recognise any other names.

Well default Rose is actually Darklore =). And she has the same ability as wedding dress.

Buff massive followers like a swarm deck?
I think the ideal board state is like 3 followers with a total size of 7, heavily buffed, with a size 1+2 buff spell. This is of course not possible to achieve all the time, but that's what you should aim for. Keep playing spells even if they do nothing, because the loss of initiative means more damage for you. And if you have 2 followers that are big enough to one-shot anything, don't play any other followers, because you don't want to counter with something weaker.
Exceptions will arise during actual gameplay, like if the AI is at 10 with a blank field, you should always play 10size worth of followers, because all-spell fields happen a lot. But if they're at 11, you should always seek to counterattack. If they're at 15, you either seek to counter heavily or set up to win next turn. It's all about setting a goal of when you expect to win the game. Hope this helps.

If they don't have an arrest or swap, for example, you're better off with a single high size follower than many low-size followers, simply because you save 10-15 seconds per turn on retarded ability/attack animations. Shorter turns helps just as much as fewer turns!

FUUUUUUUUUU
my first ladder loss
To a freakin disconnect
PAIGO SERVER DISCONNECTU
edit:
Well i went 3-4 this time ughhhhh
I should have AT LEAST been 4-3 without the disconnect (i had almost garuantee win there)
Absolutely trashed wind though in the end lol whos on the top atm. 4 losses not impossible to come back from but it's going to be extremely hard for me now :x i have to hope the other guys near the top take some unlucky losses
I lost really because 2 decks i just bhad bad luck (didn't get the right draws/blind play). One of the losses was just kind of sad (lost to a crooks deck he pulled out a smartylane on turn 1 that i couldn't kill and then i servant's warded it which was really dumb idea) - if i hadnt servants warded i woulda had a chance to just swap the smartylane but instead i let him put out size on the field which was v v annoying. Bad play by me

3-4 today. Had 3 games where they were down to 1hp but finished me off with sacrifice or mass recall. I might have to try add in some counter-spell cards.
|
Went 6-1 and 6-1. Academy is so good.
|
This is why I'm building every card instead of working toward a nice deck. Every time somebody says something like "Academy is so good." "Crooks so stronk" I exchange all my cards in for mats and try to build toward the other faction.
Not very efficient, since I'm going back to the same faction I started with.

Just craft cards for every faction besides Vita, you'll never hear anyone claiming Vita is OP.

I switched from Darklore to Academy myself, partly because I wanted to try out something new and partly because I was unhappy with how my DL deck performed both in dungeon and pvp. Knowing that I might go back at some point though I didn't exchange any cards for materials. Only transmuted Evil Eye -> Mass Recall.

11-3. Lost two games where I drew two hands of spells, shuffled them, drew full followers for the rest. =)

The thing about shuffling is that it only puts your current hand at the bottom of the deck and draws from the top, so it's fairly likely to go from slanted in one direction to slanted in another direction. I usually play one spell/follower and shuffle after that instead.

Ah .. thanks =). That explains it then. Are there any cards that actually SHUFFLES your deck then?

Not that I know of, but there are some cards that give you additional shuffles, or put specific cards on the bottom of your deck. It's possible to make a deck that can get the cards it needs very quickly, though I don't know how effective such a strategy would be.

My troll deck sees every card at the end of turn 4.

This game is awesome. I didn't know what to expect at the beggining because I used to play another online card game called elements which became boring rather quickly. I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes cardgames and farming in general but also to those of you who want to kill some time and have lots of fun. There's also boobs, BEWBS, breasts and more fan service. I giggled at some of the cards' descriptions, they are cliche as hell but funny as well.
I choose darklore as my starting deck and once I actually understood what was going on I became a fan of Rion and Sion. You don't need to know a lot to clear the first dungeon 10 times, I lost here and there but nothing too frustrating. I needed heart stones so I tried shadowland and it wasn't that hard at first but freaking fifth floor is hard as hell. I guess I need to get more cards, I wish I hadn't used some of my tokens in stupid stuff but I guess things like that happen when you are a newbie.
I could use any advice or tips and I'd also be very grateful it if you added me as a friend. My name is Mythos, I'm not very chatty but at the very least I can help you gain more training points.

Tip: Afk for 1 accessory per hour. Legit.

or just leave it signed on as you go to sleep.
