I intend to rent a CS server on a monthly basis. Features: - 16 slots
- amxx mod ( /top15 /stats etc )
- VAC
- Anti-AFK plugin
- EU based
- CSDM option
- Password option
- Scrim option
The mod usage will be highly limited (really just going with stats to begin with). I want people to have a pure CS experience on this server. There are already tons of servers out there modded to the point that you wouldn't even know you're playing CS anymore. * Im currently investigating the possibility of linking TL accounts to Steam ID through the mods so that people must use their real nicks in order to grant access to server (more fun playing with and against people you know from the forums). So please let me know if you're interested in playing 5v5s with your TL friends or just pubbing.

I'd play for sure.
Just don't make it a dust2 24/7 server, there are enough of those. I don't mind playing dust2 a lot, or even most of the time, but some variety is nice. Even office is fun to play from time to time

Dont worry about that, depending on the interest I might go mainly for smaller maps.
But yeah dust2 is very overplayed, but in the end its up to you guys.

i generaly would love it but in fact i think i am to bored for real maps in that old game xD so i finding myself play more fy_simpsons or fy_houses then real maps ^^
so dust2 azze and co are just to boring ^^
office italy and even dust1 are more fun xD
intrest belongs to how many admins are on that server ^_^ cause 1.16 is so cheater heavy and if it has freeztime (freeztime sucks)

I mean I played with 200 ping fine but I think most people choose not to.

Would be nice if it had some maps such as surfs(funfunfun!) or fy. Also if it's going to be a pub, install some anti-afk mod.

I would be interested.
I prefer the oldschool maps which are also played in tournaments like dust2, nuke, inferno etc. - I wouldn't really want many more maps than that (I played on some servers with a great map cycle and as soon as they changed to 298298490248 maps by voting system the server died).
tuscan, cbble and italy are fun, too. But I wouldn't include many more maps which aren't and haven't been super popular.

maybe there is some sort of serverplugin which renames the players according to steam id? like we send you ur steam ids and you manage the list, would be quite some work though...

I'd play with 100ish ping, but not any dumb stuff like surf or deathrun (both stupid). Deathmatch and GG are okay but what I really want is a good standard server with typical pub mods. Custom maps can be great. Even if I never play on the server, some good ones:

Never, ever, EVER play westwood maps, they are shitacular to the max. Also disable awp and shield. Also friendly fire is awesome.

I am avidly playing CSS at the moment, but desperately want to give CS 1.6 a go, and haven't had the interest to do so because most guys online are jerks nowadays (ain't that news?). I would love this implementation for sure!

pretty sure tuscan was made after cpl mill
and mirage is strike or fire remake (not sure which one :D)
also disable shield is ok but awp disable, i don't know, maybe restrict to 1 or 2
