and to be fair to the Clippers last year, they started off really bad and got it together towards the end, finishing the year strong. They were just too in-the-hole from the early season.
I see the Clips getting anywhere from 3rd to 8th, specially with a shortened, compacted season where the young, running teams have a little bit of an advantage. Only reason it is hard to tell is because a) they have Brian Cook backing up Griffin(lol, they need some backup bigs) b) their defense needs some work on.
Seems like they can PnR all day tho. Chris Paul might not be a running, high tempo PG but man is he a beast with acute vision.
Was it the Clippers who were 2-19 or was that the Cavs?

That's a massive upgrade. Chauncey Billups is as savvy as Paul and incredibly cerebral - plus he has a post game. Of course, he has never been the sheer talent that CP3 is and I doubt many humans see a basketball court like Chris Paul, but Chauncey Billups' handles, leadership and shot makes this team very dangerous.
What I mean to say is, that for at least 1 season, Mr. Big Shot is probably gonna be a fine replacement for EJ.
To be fair, when Baron Davis returned after 15 games last season he was in the best shape he's been since the GSW playoff days!

Well, like I said earlier in the post (I think I even replied to your post concerning it), preseason games are not available via NBA.com's NBATV :\

not sure, that was prob the Cavs, but the Clips were like 5-20 I think at one point. And Evans is a pretty nice pickup, one more backup center for them and damn.

Ahh, Reggie Evans, spent the entire last season padding offensive rebound stats getting his own rebound, 2, 3, 4, times in a play.

I'll defend fat B-Diddy till the day I die. He was willing to sign with the freaking Clippers coming off the 2nd best year of his career. He assumed that his buddy Elton Brand was going to reup with the Clips but he bailed and took the money in Philly. I don't really wish ill on anyone..but I hope Elton Brand's house burns down.
But Baron was fat and lazy and a malcontent after that. Blake helped him a little but he'll never fufill half the promise he showed in Charlotte/New Orleans. He was kinda like a better Deron Williams =/ so disappointing.

Not to mention he played next to the rebounding machine Andrea "It's called basketball, not rebound-ball" Bargnani.

Free throw to free throw is the maximum distance he likes to run in continuous ball.
Just did a fantasy draft, Wade 1st, Monta 2nd, Rondo 3rd.
Best 3 guard fantasy lineup possible? :D Mass shots, mass free throws, mass steals ~

Pretty sure that was the Cavs. They lost 26 in a row at one point last year.
edit: This Clippers team has forced an absolute fuckton of turnovers tonight. It's a bit insane.

Is there a fantasy league for TL guys? :O I've never been able to keep up with fantasy leagues earlier, but it could be a lot of fun, and I think I'll do better than Taco from The League!
Did anyone see LAC vs LAL last night? Griffin had a really good game!

Yeah, he signed with them because he wanted to be in LA, his hometown.

I don't care if he wanted to come back home just to bone a different USC Song Girl every night and expand his production company in Hollywood. Who cares? He signed with the Clippers long term when they were mired in mediocrity. He was literally a star at the time and it was nice for Clipper fans to dream about a Baron/Brand connection for a bit.

better than being a raptors fan, thats for sure Theres nothing worse than knowing your entire team is a complete sham, and the players treat it as such. Europeans (not that I'm saying Europeans are bad players, just the players willing to come to Canada) and contracts that are too high, with no decent culture, or pedigree to maintain dignity.
MLSE is a bit of a joke, but at least the Leafs have their 13 50 year old banners to hang.

Wait a month and all shall reign NBA in the sports& games section.
edit: Chuck Hayes is healthy to play, and apparently Brook Lopez is out for a few weeks.

Plus, shouldn't Canadian troops be supported by Blue Bonnets? More of the serving/served men and women went to peace keeping mission, not Afghanistan. :x

Lopez broken foot, time for them to tank for picks.

Hey, USC song girls aren't just sex objects. I'm sure they are decent, wholesome individuals who are just showing their support for their college and their athletes, unlike Basketball Wives. Aren't they?
