I don't think there will be a 1.9. The code freeze is already in effect, and they were just doing pre releases anyway. That's a good thing for us since we won't have to somehow rollback.

From what I understand it is a feature freeze, meaning there will be no more features added to 1.9 untill release of the game.

Actually I think Loners would win that one. We never got around to finishing our keep so all we really used was our temporary wood/dirt shack on top of our mountain surrounded by a gravel/cobble/obsidian wall.


But the Loners base underground was the most glorious thing I've ever seen on the server. When viewed from atop anyways, I never did find the proper way down.

there wasn't really any way down, it took 10 people 5 days to dig that chasm out, we got so burnt out from it that we never got round to building our underground dwarven fortress..

All it does for the big groups is give them a bunch of nice juicy targets from the small groups who won't be able to effectively do anything about it besides give up.

I would have continued it but I felt as if it was pointless, we basically defeated every faction and defended a couple attacks from the entire server. Making an actual base would have made it harder for them, and I wanted to encourage them to come at us again.

Ninja explained that 1.9 needs to be updated for every server mod and that would take 2-4 weeks at least. So don't expect it this round.

Must be able and willing to Man up.
Must be able to drop whatever you are doing to help Faction if necessary.
Must be able to keep chests clean. (THIS IS MY PET PEAVE AND IT WILL RESULT IN A KICK FROM FACTION )

We are a communist faction, Hyper aggressive.
You will be on the "shit-list" of the totem pole at first. Possible in a recruitment faction seperate from the Main one to see if you fit in well.

The alternative is peaceful factions which have no place in a pvp based server like this. If you wanna just build free of having to fight then maybe try single player? : /

I dont really get how exactly the "war" works. So if Faction A declares war on Faction B can they now destroy stuff on the land of Faction B or can they only hope to kill guys from Faction B so they lose power and Faction A can start claiming land from Faction B (and then destroy stuff on the land)?

When you are in war and want to destroy a block/place a block it takes away a certain amount of healt (9hearts or it got changed?) So destroying a wall will take some time and food.
