Pixel Walking has been forbidden since... always, IF they had allow that im sure teams would have search every single spot that could be abused, which leads me to my second problem, Fnatic KNEW about it, and im 100% sure they knew it was pixel walking (2 months doing this ? im dead sure they did use hammer to explore the spot, i mean, if they dont, they arent profesionals and just a bunch of kids who are good at the game lol), if they didnt had problems using it means that they knew that pixel walking was allowed. DH summer was 18 months ago... 18 MONTHS, and they didnt update the rules, why i do not believe that guy that the rule was changed ? because this is 2014 and theres twitter/facebook, IF someone had the rules we would have seen a photo of the updated version for 2014 (and not 2003 cs 1.6 rules that dream hack use), so no... im 99.9% sure NOBODY has those aforementioned rules they guy talked about (Fnatic or LDLC would have uploaded a photo by now, or even dream hack) Which means... Fnatic had an unfair advantage (because they knew about the spot, they knew it was pixel walking and they knew that was allowed and they wont be punished by that), something called "privileged information" (no, im not asking that them should go to jail xD hahahaha) but whatever, i dont really care about Fnatic, but it does sucks that a DH, which IMO is run by a bunch of kids that dont know what the hell they are doing (and, remember that this isnt the first time dream hack have had problems, in fact, this same year in dota 2...) get in their hands such a big prize money to create such a tournament, i hope Valve does something about it but whatever, i wont be able to watch today matches (not even dota :'''''''''( ) so i hope nothing wrong happens again because as it stands, the CSGO pro scene cant be in a worse position

They don't plan the E-sport portion of DHW in detail until way to late. Leaving everybody else, including their volunteers playing catch up. Too much stuff on the paid staff that doesn't delegate it until the last second. CSGO pro scene is looking good from what I can see. The only factor that matters is whether people play the game or not as long as the same monetary method is in place by Valve.

I think it shows very bad sportsmanship from fnatic to complain about the first decision to start over from 12-3. That would have been fair.

I mean the flusha witchhunt wasn't their fault, but instead of showing all haters that they are clean by playing a perfect Dreamhack, they come up with some really disgusting CS inculding an illegal boost, which they hid from the internet (!!! how's that even possible?) for 2 months just to abuse it on DH. Even if i was a diehard fnatic fanboy i'd lose all my respect for them. Fnatic have been hated for a lot lot longer than 2 weeks. No one disputes they are good but that doesn't change the fact that they are assholes. This behavior is merely in line with how they acted in the past.

I wonder if fnatic was aware of the 'immortal' and 'transparent texture' bugs. When you use the position, it's not immediately apparent that you can't be shot at from certain angles. I think fnatic thought it was a legit strategy and weren't aware of these flaws. (Or they were total scumbags and were hoping that they could get away with it.) I doubt that they tested it extensively from the "other team's perspective", would you? They are professionals. They play at least 10h a day. They are fully aware of what a "pixelwalk" or an "immortal bug" are. I'm sure they tested it from every angle possible. So your assumption they are "total scumbags" is completely adequate here.

The fnatic gifs do not demonstrate hacks at all for a large number of solid reasons. (16-tick, statistically likely, many other pro's do the same thing etc etc). The boost is not an intended feature of the map and you cannot fault a team for using any advantages that are not technical exploits, especially considering LDLC used a very similar boost against fnatic that same match. A rematch is appropriate, after the legality of that boost is decided.

the whole rule about pixelwalking is made for 1.6 (like rest of the rules), when have any of you ever heard in csgo of some spot (before this incident) being referred to as pixelwalking? if that boost spot was well known to community, the debate of whether it is pixelwalking or not would've never been brought up
