I started playing CS:GO this year, for the first time in my life, i have tried to play 1.6 when i was a kid but i failed in every comp attempt, i remember myself training with AWP against bots but thats all. I dl'ed source but somehow played only for 1 week max.
Now, i want to play serious. Here are the questions to improve my game:
1 ) My aim is like 6/10 i suppose, with some weapons it may be 6.5 thou. : ) Max rank i could get was MG2, maybe i can go up one more. I always play solo, it depends you know. How can i improve my aim, they say there aim maps, can you link and show me how to setup them?
2 ) Positioning. I think my only "okay" map with good positions is DUST 2. Is there any good youtube channels or links to learn where to stay, where to look exactly?
3 ) Arsenal. In eco rounds i can play with glock, usp silenced, and cz. I really wonder how to play with other pistols. And for the second round, i pick UMP. I really dont know how to play with bizon for example. My main gun in small maps is m4 with silencer. I know how to fire with it but sometimes when spraying, gun goes crazy lol. I really want to play with the other m4, sadly, i dont know how to play with it. Burst fire? Or some other spray tactics. For terror side, i play with AK but i have no idea about that gun. Twitch user summit plays with fully spray but i think he crouch (ctrl) at some point. Tried it like he does, i took a stupid bullet to my head everytime. : )) I always fire two-three rounds. I also play well with aug but i dont know how to spray with it, so i never.
Last question:
4 ) Me and my brother want to watch some real good pro games, like [tag] NIP vs NAVI best GO match ever. We want to see some sick actions. : ) Not a close game but a game with sick aims, crazy one bullet positionings etc.

THANK YOU ALL.
1. A lot of people play on DM (deathmatch) servers to practice aim. I know of a death match aim map server located in america (23.19.172.139:27015).
2. Warowl is a popular cs:go youtuber and adren has some decent videos.
3. n0thing explaining recoil a bit.
Friberg spray tutorial.
4. www.HLTV.org is kinda the equivalent to team liquid website but with cs. You can see the schedule of when pro matches go live and you can see when pro streamers go live as well. However, the HLTV user base and discussions are pretty toxic. TL community best community.

1.
2. see 1, and see his other videos.
3. play deathmatch, get used to the weapons, p250, ak, m4a1/a4, galil, famas, cz, maybe deagle
4. hltv.org and see what matches are coming up. Those matches will be broadcasted in the stream section below it when the time comes. It will usually be at the top since it will have 1-10 thousand+ viewers.

I personally find casual games much better for improving your aim and reactiontime. The problem I see with DM, ist that it requires a different type of aim, konstantly looking behind you and so on. In casual, you are able to play the same positions like in competitive, only that you can try to pick more than 1-3 CTs through mid from t-spawn, you will have more awp-duels in mid on mirage, a b rush on dust2 through cata will contain more players and so on. You can also practice holding angles etc. only concern ist that when you die, you have some downtime. Experience says though, that if you play competitive, most of the casual players are worse than you, so you dondt die that often/as one of the last. The skillgap between you and the rest of the lobby might concern you, but I see it this way: If I got him as soon as he was visible, better aim wouldnt have helped him, unless he prefired, he mostrly would have been dead no matter what.
I tried to learn spraying, gun goes up, a little bit left, then a very right, and then left.
So i fire 3 bullets and then ctrl, and then a little right, then left, then right while aiming bit lower...
Pff, its so hard to turn this into a habit and decide where to spray. : D I started spraying in casual games in close combats, i got some nice kills where i usually cant but the moments i regret spraying were more than those ones.
Google search with site:reddit.com/r/globaloffensive for things like positioning and grenade guides. There is a whole subreddit dedicated to throwing smokes and other grenades somewhere in the sidebar.
Following is my opinion only.
I suggest training map csgo (fixed), and the aim maps.
Don't crouch ever, unless you are trying to spray down 4 people from behind or something.
Play for a bit with smgs in the training_map_csgo (subscribe in workshop) to get used to the different patterns. Then just hold the trigger while strafing /running and profit (UMP is a small AK, Bizon rocks against no armor, P90 is P90).
I didn't play the last few patches but it was important to stop immediately (tap reverse direction movement) to do well with AK. You can see it when you enable show impacts (console command) in the training map (you can set the targets to disappear after X hits so maybe do 2-3 hits in the head area + strafing for practice). Spraying with AK is more of a last resort thing imo.
Loud m4 - small bursts, you just have to get used to the pattern, no easy way comes to mind.
Deagle requires patience - if you shoot more than one shot without waiting the accuracy is really bad. Look for the weapon stat table, it says how long you have to wait and has the inaccuracy modifiers, penetration etc. One-tapping people with CZ was nice, now it's not as good at longer ranges. Still the best gun for the money. 5-7 has nice clip size. I don't use it very much though. Tec-9 is a Glock on crack.
i really doubt anyone consciously thinks about the recoil pattern much when actually spraying in a real game, you just "feel" it and that comes from experience

Yeah, but when you're practicing it helps to think about how to minimize the spread. I like loading a bot DM game with no bots, figuring out how to counteract the pattern, and just doing that for like 10 minutes.
That said, you can usually simplify it a bit. Like people have said, you only really need to worry about the first 10 bullets, which generally just go up. Also, it might be helpful to look at the displacement of the bullets from your crosshair, so that you don't get into a match and pull too far down too quickly.
Have you guys got any advanced tells to spot wallhackish stuff on demos?
Last night faced a guy who had some beastly deagle headshots, some really sweet AWP peeks and all that. In some rounds he had extremely good reads and then went back to mediocre on next. Often seems to play really brave and quick when he's not in danger - even with very limited info - and then switch to careful when there's someone around. At times his crosshair placement is sloppy or weird and then the next - usually when someone is around - he gets very thorough and careful and occassionally lucky too. One or two occassions I would definitely rule as a fluke or good communication and game sense, but multiple rounds were sort of sligthly fishy here and there.
I played absolute garbage and most of the teammates were gold novas vs their MGs, so we kind of failed to push him to the limit and there were probably a lot of footstep giveaways and all that, but still... Just so many weird little things happening, usually in rounds they really wanted to win. Then again nothing, to really pin the case down.
I'm not too bothered about the thingy, but I'd definitely like to be able to tell the difference more reliably. Having seen the whole demo, the play feels pretty suspicious to me. Had I been thrown a handful of rounds in overwatch without context, no way I could've called it anything remotely conclusive.
what the fuck is wrong with people in this game i just played against a 5stack, 4 dmg's and a silver1 goddamn fucking abusers
also for ~a week now the games almost unplayable i play on 30 fps with drops why is that my pc should handle csgo easily i play on EVERYTHING lowest quality
