Leaderboards and that entire stats section has been bugged since I started playing the game about a year ago. I don't think Valve has any intentions of fixing it. That, or it's on super low priority.
He got vac banned live, and tried to explain that it wasn't his account and whatnot. You can check the thread on reddit, it's pretty hilarious. But illsick is right, his "fans" will stick by him anyway, and he'll maybe gain some.

It's the same principle than girl's stream, a part of the viewers like the content, another are there to hate, both parties argue with each other. Maybe he's viewbotting though, I never watched his stream except this VoD and have no reason to do so now, but controversial people often attract attention.

Yeah, I can understand that it can be interesting to see how low stupid people can stoop (hell, half of what's on TV is that, isn't it?) but I would never watch cheater videos on Youtube or livestreams, even for a second. They crave attention.

Had two good games with great teammates just now but I shouldn't have gone for that third game after haha. Horrible team, still somehow manage to get 15-14, idiot teammates run away from the dropped bomb (we were CT), it goes to a 1v1 with 10 secs left on the clock and... our guy disconnects.
Playing CS:GO with a decent team is great, unfortunately you don't get a good team every match and losing/tieing because of that is frustrating as fuuuuuck....
Nowadays when my team sucks I just try to do fun stuff (buy deagle on eco and get sick one clicks, peek stupid angles..). Ultimately I don't care about losing if I'm getting nice kills as it's my main source of fun when playing CS, so if the guys with me just camp and do everything in their power to not die instead of trying to win rounds, I don't give a fuck and do whatever I want too.
EDIT: But yeah, that's probably a pretty healthy way to deal with these kinds of teams where you know you're going to lose from the moment you hear their 12-year-old-like screeches over voice comm.

It seems that winning or losing games doesn't actually matter much when it comes to ranking, from what people gathered the system is more like ESEA's RWS, where after each round your score affects your MMR. I don't know if it only counts in the rounds you won though, but in any case playing like a bitch to get max frags and minimum deaths seems to be the way to go to get a better ranking. We also buy three awps T side d2 and kill two people mid at start I don't see the problem with that :>

Interesting about the ELO system, I know it's supposed to be fairly standard ELO but I had no idea about individual stats meaning more than overall match results.
Don't take it as a fact though, it's something I read on reddit and I can't find the thread anymore, but the guy seemed to have done good research and to know what he was talking about. Hope it's true, it would be sad if that game were we lost despite me getting 45 frags actually ruined my MMR
