I've queued in many group combinations and have never seen it pass 5 minutes and nearly every game makes it to the end.
Then stop thinking. I'm sure I have nothing better to do in life but come to TL make up a story with long queue. Recently 3 votes passed to continue which might suggest that the morons who would purposely vote f2 start to disappear but it still happens occasionally. If I expected someone to actually question that, I would have made a screenshot of that 30 min and post it here so next time if I remember I will.
Leo, I'm not sure whether I was on EU server but there were two games where my awp simply did not hit the target it should. Maybe it was my connection or maybe as you said I was kicked to EU server. I'd rather hope it was just my connection.

This is the internet and people like to exaggerate a single experience into being a recurring thing.
I just find it odd that people are experiencing < 3 round games and long queue times and I have not despite playing for multiple hours daily in groups of anywhere from 1 to 4.
I have noticed the solo queues are a bit longer than group queues. 10-15 minutes seems like a very rare occurrence.
Since you are on this site you may as well watch BW streams while waiting for the game :D At least thats what I do - Thank God they implemented the BEEP so I know when the game is found.
So it seems that all the servers use F1 and F2 to vote for various things, including scrim continuation votes. For whatever reasons my F keys do not work. Does anyone know how to change it so I can hit a different key to vote?

Yeah, so good that you can hear it even when you have the game alt tabbed. <3

Umm, maybe you have a keyboard that lets you rebind the keys to some other ones. You could also look at the in-game key bindings options and see if you can change them that way with more ease.
Does anyone experienced the mouse keyboard glitch ?
I'm not sure if this is related to me alt-tabbing when queue search and watching bw streams but when it finds game, I accept, I am able to move with arrow keys but cannot use mouse or buttons like escape or wasd b etc...

100 isn't very many when you consider that it's matching by location and Elo. If you're searching at an time when your region has few active players, or you have a particularly high Elo, it will take longer to find a match. It apparently expands the acceptable Elo matching window with queue time, so the longer you wait, the worse a match you get.
If they've got any sense (and I'm not entirely sure about that) they'll tune it to accept worse matches from the start for these cases. Long queue times put people off matchmaking, which makes it ever harder for the remaining players to find good matches.
7days ban for Killing a teammate at round start. 2 guys already voted that they dont want to play with bots. in the same moment i HS my friend the game closed. GG valve. cya in 7
Is there a way when you queue with friends to make it so your mic isn't on 24/7 while you are sitting around waiting for queue? It seems the only way to fix that is to disable voice completely. Even if you put it to push to talk it'll still always be on while you're sitting in the group waiting for queue.
We're all annoying with it because it'll pick up everything. Our friend was eatting chips yesterday and you could hear it constantly. You can hear TV/music on in the background. So freaking annoying yet we still want to ingame voice chat if we need to talk to other people but having to sit there for 5-10 minutes of having mics always on is so damn irritating.
I had my first good match since the "ban update". Very short waiting time, no one left. ELO matchmaking is still needed though, since the game wasnt really that fair. But I can live with that for now.
theres a crapton of leavers still... they need to implement something equal to competitive matchmaking in order that you can play wherever you want a 5v5... call it "unranked competitive" or sth...
I'd call it ranked random competitive. If you attach unranked word to it, people might not be too interested in it. But yeah, it would definitely work but it's valve so don't expect much
