I just did our first Atiziri attempt on SC with me and a friend. He was doing the elemental buzzsaw dualstrike build and I was using my 7x aura cycloner. took a lonmg time, but we killed atziri and dropped the flask. lol.

Guess I was wrong about the wand, thought IPD worked with EK

The affix on the wand is local physical damage, not a global physical damage mod.

Honestly, Atziri isn't that hard with a decently geared character. It's just that it takes forever, and you're likely to mess up and die from sheer boredom. I've killed her twice, and I plan to run her each time I find another Sacrifice at Midnight.

So I ran into this Inti of the Bloodmoon fellow... how exactly are you supposed to take it down? I tried running Detonate Dead and Devouring Totem but it just kept shooting more minions! Running an Incinerate Witch.

It can eat its own little guys that it spawns, and cause more to be spawned from its projectiles. I hate it so much..

5th and 14th overall in the dhchamps race, I had gravicious down to 10% hp but didnt get to kill him before it was over, would have been 3rd and 9th place if I had finished him off

Crap I underestimate the time taken to clear a fracture map. Tried to do one b4 realm restarted for patch. Last 30s was frantically jump into a huge pack of blue and kill as much as possible. The last 10s a Foxshade dropped. In the last 5s a Chober Chaber dropped. Was at 5fps so I just managed to throw a Thicket bow out of inventory and picked it up, 2s b4 realm kicked me lol.

So has anyone tried arc before the buff? How decent was it, and will 60% make a difference?
Thinking something like arc + added lightning + faster casting + lightning pen + added chaos/ele prolif/empower ?
Going to try out the new glacial cascade skill with maybe artic breath as single target, but if it sucks I'm probably respeccing into arc witch

Unless you can oneshot, or have high dps that can hit fast moving targets, just run. That boss is a huge waste of time

Inti is so stupid, I was clearing out my quest list on one character and ran into her (him?) in cruel, when I had already been farming piety on merciless. 15 levels or so higher and I still couldn't scratch that insane life regen. I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do.
On another corrupted area note: does the level of the corrupted area affect sacrifice at midnight drop rate? I'm getting pretty swapped with noon/dusk.

Meh I'm just dying in races recently... First ~10 races of this season went rather well, but now I've died 3 races in a row. Sucks.
Also I doubt that Arc is gonna be good, but perhaps playable. My Summoner got nerfed a bit, but is still rocking fairly well. Rogue Exiles with Vaal Skills doesn't sound good, they're like in every yellow Strongbox...
EDIT: This guy is killing shit damn fast with Arc (plus shocking): http://www.twitch.tv/foxtactics But then again I guess his equip (didn't see it yet) is probably worth so much that any other build would do as good.

Dunno, I think the 60% increase together with the fact that it now chains more than two times (6 times on 21 instead of 2) makes it a lot better imho. I don't have any experience with the dmg before the change though. For support gems I would kick added chaos (arc has 50% dmg effectiveness and needs to be 21 for maximum chains) and run those you mentioned in a 6 link. I thought about running a non-crit build because of two things: 1. Picking up static blows and shock together with the 10% base chance to shock from arc gives you 35 % shock chance without investing into crit. Quality Arc gives more chance to shock as well (another 10 for 20% quality). 2. I think crit with lightning can be pretty dangerous with reflect due to it's wide dmg window. You may hit your lower end dmg vs reflect and don't even notice and after that crit for the higher end and one shot yourself.

That hammer is really cool. A bit low on DPS, dunno if the cast can make up for that. But Ball Lightning + lightning pen + lmp on hit sure sounds amazing. On that note: Where is our Ball Lightning? They said it would be in 1.1.1 or 1.1.2.^^

Unless you can't stack up, you're probably better off just putting 2x spells+lightning pen (100% DPS boost is a lot). You'll shoot off a million of them with RT+Lightning Strike or Spectral Throw anyway.
You could also go man mode and go double Thor hammers with triple spark in both for screen saturation.
I doodled a tree, surprisingly easy to get to the 200 int and ~350 strength with 100 points and still get around 200% max life with Static Blows. Probably don't even need mentis, just some good strength gear.

Btw it says "on hit". Does that mean including spell ? Cause I have a strange feeling of a chain reaction here. Firestorm/arc/ chain EK = lightning overload ? Just realize it's gonna cost around Windripper lvl or sth. PLan aborted -___-
