I had zero problems with physical damage before, mainly because I was constantly chilling/freezing stuff. Had 1.6k health and 650ish ES, yet those things took away huge chunks from my health each pop (1.5k eva does not help vs bear trap at all).

Problem was I panicked, and did not attack. I could have maybe killed the guy in time because FP + LMP is stupid damage, and it had something like 40% chance to freeze after counting crit, passives and curse. Live and learn I guess.

Man, and I just spent 5 chaos on a good wand + shield the other day.

Edit: starting new character soon, anyone wants to join?

Whats so good about arctic breath? Is the DPS for a Ice Crit witch worth it? I just use spell totem with GMP+Ice Spear+Faster Cast and my main freezing pulse dps. I have my reduced mana linked with my frostbite + discipline + clarity.

In PvP if you got a good computer/connection the spell will lag out the opponent and you will get easy kills :D

when should i start doing maps? i am level 68 now and i have tried 2 66 level maps(one of them was +%92quantity and it literally took 1 hour to kill everything btw) should i transmute them or use alchemy orbs? i am playing a lightning strike templar and i have 2.7 hp, 80 elemental resist(-60 chaos :S),5k armor, %40 block chance and 2.6k dps. i think i can farm up to 70's in docks first. any advice?

Can I vendor Augmentation orbs for anything ?>? I have a little over 3stacks and thats too much space for my stash for something I find almost completely useless

Somebody running maps will pay you better than the vendor. I think it's 4 Augmentation for a fusing at the vendor, but you should double check that.

Lost my 44 HC ranger just now to desync, I'm wondering my portals aren't working and my health keeps going down... I never think to exit game. I'm so shit. 3rd char down. -_-

I did get a Geoffri's on this one, but man it sucks dying. Lost a 42 shadow and a 44 ranger now.

Happens for all of us. But it seems you got problems at lvl 40ish so maybe try to get abit more defence around that lvl to avoid those deaths

Already lost 3 characters to the Docks level thanks to multiple projectiles dogs from hell. From now on, I'll either leave it to last or just run through to get the quest item.
Let's hope this one survives.

Those dogs are really really dangerous imo. People keep saying Docks is the safe place to farm A3, I'm not fully convinced yet. Most mobs are simple, but those dogs are high threat if you don't have 75% Fire Res. At least 50%++ , and then I think those Blink mobs can spawn there too.

What does everyone think about "Barracks A3" Farming? It's same iLvL Mobs as Docks, and there are only easy Melee Soldiers, and the ranged light Mages which don't seem to shock. Can easily be pelted away from the distance.

Docks isn't safest, but it is very good if you can handle it. City is much safer farming than docks but it's lower level.

I think barracks is extremely dangerous..... there are some generic shield and sword mobs but there are also the ones with tower shields that are going to shield charge you while the lightning mages are gonna throw arc at you which cannot be avoided and can very well shock you. You get champion mobs or a rare mob with haste which then shield charge you from offscreen and you have a big problem or you are straight up fucked if they shock you aswell. I think barracks is probably my least favourite zone.

if your attacks or spells hit fast enough can lvl 1 wrath actually add damage with shocks late game?

is there a minimum shock duration even if u are doing say just 1 point of lightning damage?
