60% lightning to chaos, 20% ele added as chaos. Grats, Voltaxic back at its former glory. Also casual 1k armor. Darkscorn would be cool there too for 25% less dmg taken from all sources but I think the dps is still too low on that bow. e: Also works with Spark obviously so there's another build that can be brought back from the grave. e2: Also double consuming dark for effectively 80% fire to chaos. | ||

Edit: actually around 43k armor with 0 piece of amour on gear lol Setup can be switched a bit to lose 2k es but become 99/99/100 res. | ||

With the new molten strike threshold jewel is GMP still necessary ? molten strike - cold to fire - fire pen - wed - multistrike - (added fire) ? | ||

I kinda want to play one, but I feel it would be super slow before everything is in place. If I dont come up with something better (or can make spark kinda work as starter), I`ll probably just go warchief 2-hander berserker again. I enjoyed that one a lot in breach. | ||

Leveling as spark is certainly a recipe for regret and self hate. You should be able to level as shock nova or lightning tendrils and transition when you've got the gear. | ||

I wouldn't recommend starting as it unless you are very patient at grinding / good at flipping for currency. In my personal experience spark feels very crappy until you hit a certain breakpoint of crit / attack speed (for whirling/shield charge). | ||

Flame Blast Totems/Bladefall Totems are both the smarter choice to start out imo, then transition with one chill of corruption and one sacrificial harvest minimum once you can swap to CI. Less than that and you'll be sad most likely. | ||

I might try that. Or just do totems to level and spend a few regrets on top of my 18 refund points if nova doesnt work out. Edit: as I just saw your post evo... is bladefall totems comparable to FB totem speedwise ? | ||

I'd say Shock Nova might be better for leveling, but at gem lvl 15 and over there is 0 incentive to use Shock Nova as LT has the same (more) radius and the best DPS of any Lightning Spell (outside of Discharge builds). Both of them probably won't nearly reach the leveling speed of FB totem or even BF totem though. Also man, I totally forgot they changed the staff crit nodes. Wtf, it's crazily easy to get high crit chance with just the left passive tree crit nodes if you play Hegemony's Era. Using that with Molten Strike as Inquisitor must be busted DPS for farming bosses. | ||

The range even got buffed a little (assuming low/no AoE nodes). Already was awesome before. For leveling at least. Later you probably want to use Ice Crash, as that also has Elemental Conversion which helps as Inquisitor. Static Strike might also be a possibility, range got buffed a bit. It's still tiny though. So yeah, no godlike clear speed. But at least you have godlike ST with Molten Strike. | ||
