I open with c4(English) myself. If I had to choose d4 or e4, I would go d4, since I hate playing e4 now. Plenty of openings to use against it (Sicilian, Caro-Kann, Alekhine, French Defense).

This would be awesome, but I always find that long matches (3 days to make your move) I forget and lose due to loss of time. I like live chess matches, anywhere from 7mins to 1hour, I think that would be better.

The first post one was added much later. I only added it because many people wanted to start sooner. But I don't want to start sooner without people knowing about it so they don't miss out the starting hype. I use that poll to check the awareness level.
