What'd be the point of that? You might as well play wow then. I really don't see what the big problem with just playing wow is. It's got the very BG's you want and if you do get bored of that, you can do other stuff.
And really, the grinding isn't that bad. Spend a month getting to 85 and learning you class and you're good to go. It's basically like climbing the ladder of SC2. Not much point getting thrown in at 85 first. Start off slow and get there. Really not that big a commitment, it isn't that expensive, assuming you have a job.
What's the point of BLC then? What's the point of PvP characters in Guild Wars then? What' the point of an FPS? It's called instant gratification. Take away the monotonous grind that some of us don't want to do due to having a job, limited time, and get right down to what we want to do.
I can see your point that it would be just WoW without all the WoW stuff. I guess I'm basically giving an example of a game I'd like to see with the polish, and mechanics that WoW pvp play offers.

There is far more to it than that.
Some people dont want to grind a month to get to the part they want to play. It's nothing like climbing sc2 ladder because you aren't actually learning what you need for PvP...it's a meaningless time waster if youre playing Wow just for the bgs.
Dont forget the grinding or gear or re grinding levels if you want to play a different class. Your entire argument makes no sense frankly.
Seriously if I had to spend a month leveling a wretched hag to play HoN I wouldn't play it. I played WoW for years and enjoyed it greatly but yea it's not the same thing.

Wars rage and the actions you do one day affect the worlds of hundreds of thousands of other people. Not the devs and their retarded "events" But you take your friends and their friends and take whats someone else's. And when you have something you must fight to keep your home.
if I must say more
Although what you said is true, EVE's PvP isn't like WoW's BGs at all. The first is open world sandbox PvP and the latter is only staged fights in a comparatively small arena. Furthermore these two games are so mechanically different that you can't expect to have a similar PvP experience anyways.
The video you linked is not even part of the game but a FPS CCP is developing whose fights are supposed to take place on planets in the EVE universe.

when blizzard killed twinking , that killed WoW for me.reducing WSG to 30 minutes was also a terrible change. running the same raids 50 times didn't appeal to me , pvp battlegrounds at lower levels without the constant carrot of new gear at top level did appeal
i havent heard of bloodline champiuons before i will check it out
the best game you will ever play for pvp is daoc , even back when it came out all those years ago no mmo to date has matched it =) and theres free servers up that feel just like it did back then and the games still as fun
warhammer online had some nice bgs i think.. dont know if theres actually people playing it anymore. but you can play the game free untill lvl 10 but i think theres the most pvp anyway.

I never understood Twinking, you want to play a characater that doesnt have all its abilities, the abilities are not scaled for that level, and a Rogue and Hunter/Hunters Pet just one shots most of the classes. You twink so you can beat the people who ahve no idea what they are doing, big fish in a small pond i guess.
As for the actual OP, there really isnt an game beside WoW that will offer you this BLC is your closest bet but I always prefered WoW Arena/BGs

Except that there are people at top level who have no idea what they're doing, too. Being able to obtain an artificial advantage in an MMORPG is intended and desired. Move along.
It may sounds stupid but go play FPS, after i quit WoW I came back to FPS world and i loved it. try CS, QL, CoD, TF or BF. give it a try. I really enjoyed Battle field cause its big and kind of BG-ish.
Warhammer Online is the game for you, its basicly built around battlegrounds- and all leveling takes place in them, you're there from lvl 1 - 40(max level, if you wish). It has everything you're asking for, and there's an "endless" test version on their website, http://www.warhammeronline.com/trial/ (capped at lvl 10 tho, so you'll be stuck in "tier1" untill you subscribe, don't need to buy the game itself, just an subscription afaik).

Pretty sure they brought twinking back with an option to no longer gain exp. So now you could even twink for PvE if you wanted.
Battlefield BC2 is where ur battleground is at yo totally agree with niiino, mindless straightup crashin helicopters on dem enemies. you wont be disapointed!

You don't learn your class by playing it? Leveling your character does teach you what you need to pvp, knowing your character and getting used to your abilities plus UI is everything in wow pvp... Not to mention there's low lvl BG's to get used to the maps and the concepts of them.
And you really can't compare HON to Wow BG's. Haven't you noticed that HON chars only have 4 skills? Plus the loose in items but regardless. Properly pvp'ing in wow requires a MUCH better insight in your character than it does in hon, not to mention talents and roles, heck even gear. The game is not as simple as HON and as such it's only fair that you give people a chance to learn their character before getting thrown into it. As it is already you get roflstomped the first times around a BG simply because you do not know your character well enough. Now imagine figuring out rotation + all of your what, 20 abilities on the first time around. Just not possible.
What you're asking for may appeal to you specifically because you have some knowledge within the game and may be smarter than the majority of wow players. But we live in a casual world where games aren't meant to be very hard. And alot of people already find wow a bit hard to learn. You can just look at people's performance and see how badly they do, and that's after having spent like, a month on that character.
Someone suggested Mount and Blade : With Fire and Sword. A good game but I will make the suggestion of trying out Mount and Blade: Warbands instead. The single player in Fire and Sword is better, but if you want good multi-player fast action 3rd person combat, Warbands is MILES ahead of Fire and Sword right now. It is much smoother, more polished, and the community is a bit more fleshed out because the game has been around for a while. Maybe after a couple of patches Fire and Sword will be up to par, but right now it just feels lacking and "beta" like.
You can get it free on the TaleWorlds website and play around in single player to get an idea for what combat is like, but I'm telling you now that Multiplayer is WAY better and more intense. Like the difference between playing the AI and a human player in SC. Nothing comes close to the feeling you get after a good Duel against someone and get that perfect block in just before slashing their guts.
Best part is there is NO grind in multiplayer. No leveling, no "that guy beat me because he has no life and spends hours everyday farming or bought his 85 off of Ebay" issues, no "kill 18 ogre monkeys and bring me their toe hair". It's sword and board combat (or mounted combat, or archery, or two handed axe swinging!) with FPS-style skill based requirements. The character is only as good as the player, no Epic gear to make you untouchable to a noob.
I'm one of those gamers who only picks a game every few months to really get into, sometimes new, sometimes old; and I almost exclusively play multiplayer games. Warbands doesn't have a huge marketing team like these other games so you might not have heard of it, but the community (especially the Mod community, holy crap!) is VERY committed to enjoying games and is always welcoming to new players.
Seriously just give it a spin. It may be the exact thing you are looking for, or you may hate it. Worth a shot for free IMHO.
Sounds like you just want a game where you can throw people off the cliff at arathi basin. Lol
What was wrong with just playing wow? I personally hate the game, and I can see your apprehension toward playing it just for the BG (which I thought were fun except for super serious premades that turned it into a grind),
or wait for dota 2 and see if that tickles your fancy.
