Hi! Like everyone else who has ever touched a Nintendo 64 console I really love the Legend of Zelda game series. There's something special about that game that just takes you back to when you were only a little kid sitting there in front of your TV for hours in end. For me personally, The Legend of Zelda was one of the things that actually got me so interested in video games.
I've been looking around for all the songs myself, trying to find all of them in the same place, but never really succeeded in doing so... until now.
This is for all the Zelda lovers out there, and for the TL community to enjoy.

Man now I really cannot wait for the new wii Zelda.

There are several Emulators out there that you could play the game on. I usually stream myself playing old Nintendo64, SNES, and Gameboy games! I also use an Xbox360 controller whilst playing.
If you love Zelda music I can't recommend this enough, or purchasing the CD if you can find it. All 5 parts on youtube are worth the watch, regardless.
Think I#m going to get a 3DS since Ocarina of Time 3D will actually feature OOT:Master Quest which was released along with Windwaker on the Gamecube... Always wanted to play that, never had a Gamecube
Thank you for this link, Zelda is my all-time favourite game. And the soundtrack brings back so many nice memories as well as makes me miss the game heappppps

Got to agree on that. Been listening to their versions a lot the last month. For anyone that enjoy the Zelda music suggest you take a look on that site since all their things can be downloaded for free.
I actually have a CD of this soundtrack that I got free with a copy of Nintendo Official Magazine about 5 years ago now. I still have it, this post has inspired me to import it into my itunes, so thanks for that!

Haha, thanks, so jealous right now, I too would like one of those :D

Listening to the symphonic legends zelda themes. SO GOOD! :o
Really? Would be pretty cool if you could share a picture of it, with us :D

Cool tatto man! Don't get mad if I copy you though

This is my favorite remix though. Wait for it until 30 seconds, it's a slow start
omg so much nostalgia. i love legend of zelda. starcraft is good but legend of zelda will ALWAYS be my favorite game series ever. thanks for the playlist it makes my heart warm
"Of course, the Nintendo 3DS version of Ocarina of Time is crammed with interesting things that weren’t in the Nintendo 64 version, but we’ll wait to talk about those the release.”
What these interesting things are, I don't know though. Might be some shitty gimmicky 3DS stuff for all I know. However, it is 25 year anniversary for Zelda this year, so they better make it big!
This is truly an epic thread. Brings back so many childhood memories. Currently listening to the soundtrack of Link's awakening (the first Zelda game I played).

I am totally jealous of that tattoo! Possibly the best tattoo I have ever seen. So tempted to get just the three triangles now.
I never liked Majoras Mask for some reason. Something about he whole time limit mechanic. Even though there was a song I think that enabled you to turn back the clock, it was pretty annoying to me.

I absolutely LOVED Wind Waker though! So good!
I haven't gotten myself to play Majoras Mask just yet, I've been told time and time again that it's not really as good as it's made out to be. But I'm planning on playing it within a close future.

I know a lot of people want this music. But most people are having a hard time finding it, but I've found it, and so I figured I'd share it with the community!

Honestly it's hard to live up to coming right after Ocarina of Time on the exact same system. It's a great game but comparitively just about anything won't compare!
Thanks for the nostalgia, I think I might have to do an emulator run of this game now!

personally I think MM is the better zelda. some people dont dig it as much as OoT but i love it. MM OST is great too.....'last end' or final hours from MM is one of my personal fav from all the OST's. wind temple and molgera boss battle from the wind waker and midnas lament from TP are amazing too!
must say that i didn't like zelda OOT that much (yes it was awesome, but not outstanding; maybe just not my type of game. with some guides it was more enjoyable, but my first playthrough was pretty rough :D i sucked and it took me quite long... pretty sure i enjoyed FF7 more over all!). but damn, the music was easily the best and hearing some of the songs again is so cool.

I've done a bunch of emulating during the past year!
I think Ocarina is by far a better game than Majora's mask, but I think Majora had by far the better music. I've learned to play the Song of Healing, Astral's Observatory, and the Clock town theme on piano because I liked them so much. The Song of Healing is perhaps my favorite video game song of all time and I definitely feel better after listening to it.
Longtime fan of the entire Zelda series here, lover of OOT Majoras Mask, Wind Waker, Oracle of Ages / Seasons (GBC), everything. A couple months ago I discovered perhaps the most marvelous radio station ever broadcast; under the Radio tab of iTunes, click ambient and scroll to the bottom. WZMR: World Zelda Music Radio. Literally anything from 8-bit originals to symphonic compositions to DUBstep remixes of everything Zelda ( 24 / 7 ) . Great laddering material.
@Zewker: ZREO (zelda reorchestrated) is INCREDIBLE. They play random picks from that all the time on WZMR

Just listened to it about half an hour and i have to say this site/radio is great! Zelda just never gets boring! Thank you very much for this, i could listen all day to this.
As people seem to appreciate this much, I'm considering making another game thread, for all you nostalgia people out there. Any requests or ideas? Perhaps a music list of the entire Zelda series? Comment or send me a PM!
If you guys like to listen to video game music (particularly pertaining to Nintendo), check out the band Stemage. They do these AMAZING metal covers of Metroid songs. Seriously, it's off the hook. Here's an example, one of my favorite, Kraid:

I'm voting for the funniest game of all times, "Conkers bad fur day"! I don't really remember if the soundtrack was so listenable as the Zelda ones, but i do remember it was superb while playing the game. For example when you went near the bee hive the original melody stayed the same but was then buzzed by the bees.
many thanks to the OP and also the person who posted zelda reorchestrated. both are making me super nostalgic, and you can 100% bet on me playing OoT or TP at least for a little bit when I get home tonight. I honestly don't know if another video game can again capture the perfection of OoT in my own eyes (although, of course, nostalgia makes everything seem better than it was).

it's a remix of the water serenade from OoT, i've been thinking about subbing it to OCReMix but i had to wait for headphones to master the song properly and i had troubles with getting a bass sound i wanted. bass is still actually wrong, it jumps between octaves but i cant tell whether i like it higher or lower.
i basically took a small jingle (alot of the ocarina songs sound good, esp in OoT) and tried to give it some structure and make it into a full song, whilst keeping a simplistic edge about it so it has alot of free space.
comment if you like the bass an octave higher or lower!
Everyone's sat there playing this game for hours and hours. I think bumping this thread would be justified by the amount of people re-living their childhood.
