Story-wise sure, DA is inferior to BG and PS, but gameplay wise, I can't say that with the same confidence. Combat especially was really fun in Dragon Age. Character building is really bland in BG (not much choices to make each time you level up), a bit better in DA, the best in this area remains Neverwinter Nights. Neverwinter Nights 2 reintroduced parties in single player, but UI was horrendous... What I would give to have Neverwinter Nights-type depths of spells and skills and all combined with multicharacter mechanics of DA (or even BG, actually).

It's more like Baldur's gate than kotor Yeah. More like very simplified, 3D version of BG.
I wouldn't say simplified. It's reaaaaly different. Dragon age does not use D&D rules (or maybe newer ones) but BG and DA are really different in their core.
But yeah DA is more a BG3 than a KOTOR3 (OMG KOTOR 3 ! please !)

I thought NW and BG shares the same ruleset(D&D) so depth of the skills and spells should be similar. Especially BG2 is quite good on that sense.

If i recall, BG uses the 2nd D&D set of rules and neverwiter nights uses the 3rd where you can multiclass specialists.
Like in BG you can Mage/Priest but in NWN you can Summoner/Druid or something like that

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is out October 14th in NA. its retail price is $60. however, there is a deal on a video card where they throw in a Borderlands:TPS Steam Key for free.
As a result, the "street price" of the title is about $41.00 USD. you can find offers floating around on e-bay, get it for 23% off at Green Man Gaming. and, if you are extra paranoid and want a super reliable source there is CJs CD Keys. it is a Euro Key so it unlocks the game on Steam on October 17th and is region free.

If you intend to play a lan with a couple of friends, Serious Sam First and Second Encounter are great games to play the campaign in coop. You will have the hell of a lot of fun.^^

Man I loved that game I'm actually looking forward to the GOG client beta as well. I prefer having DRM Free games a lot compared to having to connect to Steam all the time

I've never heard anyone say anything negative about Enemy Within. XCOM Declassified isn't an expansion though, it was a completely separate game. Third person shooter that was very poorly received.

Enemy Within greatly improves the main game, 100% get it if you want to shoot at more aliens :D
