God I feel so bad for you cause you might be the one person that didn't throw anything away after a couple of minutes (which basically means you're perfect for the game). It kind of depends on how far back you mean. The monthly updates have been steady for the entire time. http://prison-architect.wikia.com/wiki/Version_History The latest couple of versions added mostly contraband, prisoners being able to escape and the full mod support. Personally I just like starting it up every 1-2 months and enjoy a week or two with the updates. Considering how detailed they're working on certain things it's just getting better and better. | ||

Nothing shameful about torrenting it, it's not like you don't own the game, if anything Microsoft is to blame. Stuff like this is why I waited until Arkham Asylum and City dropped GFWL and adopted Steam. Look at the bright side though, if you can endure 10 hours of trying to get it to work you'll probably manage to play Dark Souls for a long time, and not get frustrated and ragequit (which I've done 2 times or so, before actually liking the game and wasting 70ish hours on it) | ||

But yeah, dark soul is the kind of game you'd wish you could erase from your memory to start it over again, it's so rewarding to become better and better, and just exploring is so good. | ||

So get this, i just installed the game (TPB version from last year), ROFL GFWL overlay pops up instantly, i now have an offline profile and can play/save the game. WOW. Fucking.....ahhhhhhhhh. Life is hard. Edit: That being said im still going to try to get the Steam version working, i just read something on Steam forums, that so simple, and ridiculous, that it might work lol. Apparently this guy just deleted the Xlive.dll file in the game directory, and the overlay popped up the next time he ran it. So, dloading the game, ONCE AGAIN. lol i think ive downloaded the game so many times, its like 40gb on bandwidth gone. In retrospect i should have just copied it over to somewhere else, but, i felt like having a "clean" install was best to limit issues. | ||
