Fast travel, good storyline (for a while anyway), shock value and most importantly open ended, fun planning/shooting gameplay. PS i am SO excited for Rome 2. Rome is my favorite TW game still, and after buying napoleon in the sale i now own them all. The roman time period just fits perfectly with the gameplay IMHO. Couldn't agree more. Something about the types of units, the variety of people, the vibrant history of the period, the incredible phenomenon of organisation that is the Roman Empire, it's all very cinematic and incredible. I'm pleased you guys have enjoyed Far Cry 3...I was a little worried because I felt like 2 had plenty of flaws despite being a reasonably fun game, but it seems like they may have corrected them. This Steam Sale has been one of the best so far I think...some real top quality games going at very good prices. I read an article recently about how interest in Steam is picking up and people are starting to realise how much better owning a self-built PC and buying games cheap and legal from Steam can be: the access to mods, updates and the games anywhere from any PC are very very attractive!

Its a cheapish copy of D3 indeed. The possible builds are from what i noticed extremely limited and its pretty short. Your better off with Torchlight, PoE or D3 itself.

So either he killed him in a matter of seconds, or there was some glitch. Oh well, better luck next time. Maybe it was a rare glitch. Regardless, it doesn't really affect anything. That's the only heavy berenike knight that doesn't respawn, he specifically drops a titanite shard (the other drops are easily just bought), you didn't really miss anything. The only point of that knight is to teach you about more powerful enemies and dickish placement (entry hall with balder knights hiding around the corner, 2nd floor ledge with channeller casting soul arrow, etc.), and to have something guarding your valuable first fire keeper soul so it's not just handed to you, and give you your first upgrade shard.

It will still take a while, and you will be able to upgrade your older version when it launches, so it may even be cheaper to buy AE with 75% off and the IIRC $15 upgrade later on. So it really isn't worth it to wait.

The new one is being released in January 2014. I am planning to dedicate myself to learning the game and try go competitive if I can (I probably will fail, but will try my hardest to not ^^) so I do not want to start any more late than I already am by waiting till then XD
