To commemorate the flawless SimCity launch, Steam has Tropico 4 Complete on sale for $9.99. It's a steal at that price. The game itself is fantastic. Being El Presidente is a fun experience that you won't find outside of Tropico. Oh, and the music is awesome.

Glad I checked the thread, because that seems like a great deal, just bought it. Thank you fishbowl

Anyhow, good game at any price, but if you can get it for <15$, it's a steal.

I don't see a single reason why i would want to have one, except that you can't pay for a few things online (most things you can easily pay with paypal). But apparently in the US everyone has them, so US only offers usually mean you have to have a credit card.

You don't have a debit card?

Perhaps debit cards in Europe work differently than here in the United States, but I can (and do) use my debit card for all my online purchasing without any sort of hassle. Most debit cards in the US are backed by credit card companies like VISA/Mastercard, but some banks (credit unions mostly) have debit cards which arent and they cant be used like a credit card.

Over here every bank has its card which take the money directly from your account. thats the biggest change compared to credit cards i guess. Since it doesnt facture once a month but instantly you cant use it if you dont have any money atm.

I dont fully understand the process, but our debit cards (as long as they are backed by visa/mastercard) work for anything that requires a credit card except it still takes money from the account instantly. No interest on it either. Then there are actual credit cards which has money taken from a credit account (the amount is however much is your limit).

Since I can use the debit card for basically everything here in Germany (ATMs, in shops, ...) and I can pay most stuff online with direct debit system or Paypal (which then uses direct debit), I personally dont really think a visa/mc is worth that money. Especially since amazon is the only shop I've encountered where I cannot pay with any of my available options.
