can highly recommend plants vs zombies too

regarding Fable 3: The first one was really good (top 3 fav game on xbox), the 2nd one was "fine". Didn't really enjoy the 3rd one though, wayy to short and easy :/

Bought Empire: TW but it keeps crashing after loading screens -_-

Plants vs Zombies: Really good tower defense type of game. However would not suggest buying if your not into TD types of games.
Half-Life franchse: Its 9.99 for all the Half-lifes only. The Valve complete pack has Portal 1+2 in it and L4D1+L4D2 and CS:S for 49.99. Might want to opt for Complete pack imo if you don't already have any of the other games in it.
Bioshock franchise: Great franchise. I'm not a big FPS player but this one is great. The first one felt a bit deeper storywise but the settings were great. Made you feel like you were really in an underwater dystopian city for sure. Should check out if your into a bit of FPS mixed with a good story in a great setting.
Darksiders: Light on story but good old 3rd person hack and slash. Very fun to play through first time. Can't wait for the sequel its ending hinted about to come out .
Battlefield BC2 Franchise: I bought my BFBC2 from a brick store, so if your like me I think your SOL for Vietnam since they won't sell you Vietnam without you having a BFBC2 from steam. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1650058. Otherwise its a great game, better than CoD franchise for me, bigger world, momentum of battle is different each game/map, vehicles+planes etc, etc. I'm not a hardcore shooter fan so I'm not too iffy about hitscan and those stuff which some people seem to think is worse in BFBC2.

With Battlefield 3 set for release this October, BFBC2 on a bargain is a nice way to check the franchise if you haven't played it before. Probably the best multiplayer shooter I've played recently. Just don't get Vietnam too quickly; it's a different kind of game and not necessarily everyone's taste.
Also, get Super Meat Boy. It's awesome. It's simply awesome. Difficult, challenging, but never unfair, and with tons of levels and fun.
Magicka is a nice little game, but only get the DLC maps if you have some friends set to play every now and then with or against you. Magicka alone is a nice single player experience, but that's it.

PvZ is the only "Indie" game i could ever stand.

I bought both Bioshock games, now to dl them >_<

OMG why do steam games take so long to download....
|

Because everything is on sale, so there is a download spike?
|
Things are on sale everyday, last time I used Steam it was not nearly as bad sigh :x
|
The weekend and midweek sales are never as major as these week long seasonal ones. Try changing your download region to one of the relatively less populated regions. I remember downloads being faster if I changed to one of the SE Asian countries.
|
Download speed has gone down the drain ever since this afternoon (EU Time) or morning (USA Time). Guess they are having massive server loads as they are selling loads of games right now.
Seeing as a lot of my purchases were just 'stocking up' for the future and not for immediate use I'll stop downloading for a while in order to help people that need their fix right now get it earlier. I'd like to ask you to do the same: if you won't be playing the game for a while anyway just wait with downloading it.
|
Makes sense to me that it'll get slower. I'll have something like 25-30 gigs to download after just today, and tens/hundreds of thousands of people downloading that much is sure to put a strain on their servers.

If any europeans or Australians need someone to gift them a game (US) to save money, just PM me and we can set up a deal. Already helped out Nando. He sent me the $5 first over paypal and I bought BC2 and gifted it to him.

Thats nice of you but be careful of scammers who might try to charge-back the paypal money after receiving the game.

is vietnam a dlc or something? Bfbc2 is definitely worth it, vietnam's the dlc. I thought PvZ was amazing, I finished it in a day Magicka's fairly good but still buggy, it should last you about 6 hours. I haven't tried the Magivka DLCs.

There's just as much of a chance of me ripping them off as there is of them ripping me off. I'll be careful though.
