I'll be lucky if I manage to last the week without buying the $50 Valve pack lol. I heard this game was pretty average but maybe patches/mods/whatever have made it great since then? Defo worth a shot for $5 IMO.

Is it actually possible to chargeback so easily on paypal? I didnt receive my item once and did a quick search and figured out my money was probably lost and I would have to file a paypal claim and go back and forth for any chance of a return. It was only like 15$ though.

Has anyone played Spectromancer? Its -75% in price including all the DLC but I am still not sure if its a good game. I like card games but this one seems a bit different than the usual TCG. Any opinions?

Oh man, Bad Company 2 was too tempting. Guess I'll have to wait cut down on my internet usage to make room for this DL though. Pros and Cons of steam and New Zealand I guess.

Its kinds bad tbh. I tried the online Demo. Basically its a rather cheap flash car game. You don't open packs or anything. There is a set fo maybe 10 different decks that you can only play with. and no changing cards or anyhting like that.

Just picked up Super Meat Boy, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Half Life 2, Episode One and Episode Two all for just £15. Really pleased with my purchases and can't wait to play on all of them. Still tempted to buy both Bioshocks and Plants V Zombies, but I think I may just be being greedy as it will take me an age to get through all the games I just bought anyway
|
Loved the first Bioshock so I ended up buying the 2nd. Couldn't resist the price tag of 5 £.

Picked up Resident Evil 5 today for $14.99. Really like this franchise and 4 was amazing on both gamecube and especially wii. Not the cheapest but I really wanted to try this.

Bad Company is hard as Level1, I get sniped by Guys from like 2miles away. The first Sniper-Rifle doesn't hit anything :o But it's fun, especially destroying buildings with a tank, HAHA :p

You'll have a hard time killing things for the first few levels, but that doesn't mean you can't be useful. Try to support your team as much as possible - healing, repairing, throwing ammo and especially spotting. It's a good way to learn more about team interaction and you'll earn a ton of XP this way.

I just want to note, that the M24, in my opinion, is actually the best sniper rifle out of all of them. I got a +174 marksman shot last night by basically hitting a guy in the head all the way across the map (Harvest Day)
|
GOL Sniper rifle > every other sniper rifle in BF:BC2. But the first one is actually the second best you get, so once you figured out how to snipe (game has a kind of ballistic system), the M24 does a decent job. But if you want to lvl up fast play Medic. It's fun :-)

Don't buy Fable 3.
It's a good game in the series, same things, some bugs and some trivialities. But there are game breaking bugs and if you get one after having played 10-23 hours it's impossible to recover (falling through world, quest not progressing, locked in a room etc) and there is no help to get from anyone. Lionhead doesn't answer any mails/petitions, they haven't patched the falling through world bug in 10 months so they probably never will (it's been with it since release and no one has done anything about it).
So if you're lucky you'll play the game and have a 6-7/10 experience, if not you'll be angry and pissed at throwing money to a developer that puts less and less in every game and they won't even dignify long time fans like myself with a godamn response, making me wish I'd pirated the game instead of supporting a studious who clearly does not deserve it anymore... sad as I am to say it.

anyone want to share frozen synapse with me?
|
Well the new sale is up. The only game I'm remotely interested in today is men of war: assault squad. Can anyone recommend this?
|
kind of disappointing, im thinking of picking up torchlight though
|
damn, I'm waiting for CS:S.
Defense Grid is a very enjoyable tower defense game, by far the best deal today. Maybe torchlight if that's your thing, but I always thought it overrated.
