Good to know I can get my dump ^^ edit: god I suck at mutations got hit with teleportitis by a neqoxec in Abyss; drank 3 !mut (why did I do that???) 1 !cmut, and... lost my +2 intelligence, gained +slowness, +tele, -20% mp (from neqoxec too), and -1 dex. I guess I'm screwed! | ||

Some things I would recommend you try: travel_delay = -1 confirm_butcher = never auto_eat_chunks = true (probably also easy_eat_contaminated = true) clear_messages = true (this is the best setting, it clears previous messages from the screen so you always know which messages you just received this turn) pickup_mode = multi I would suggest recolouring items also so it's easier to tell what you have just from opening your inventory. For instance, all of my teleportation consumables are green, and all of my haste consumables are cyan, and no other consumables else I usually carry around uses those colours. Also changing message colours is good ... enemy hp messages including lightred and yellow is pretty bad since those are normally colours for bad things. I changed those to be green/lightgreen. http://crawl.akrasiac.org/rcfiles/crawl-git/crate.rc There's my full file. I would not really suggest using the entire thing since it has a lot of changes you probably don't want. | ||

default_manual_training = true auto_eat_chunks = true (automatically eat a chunk if you get hungry while auto exploring) autofight_stop = X (where X is a percent of your total HP, default is 30. setting it higher will save your life if you're lazy like me) | ||

Tournament starts in about 1 hour 40 minutes or so. No rush unless you're trying to grab one of the first three wins (or allrune wins) for bonus points though. | ||

Jiyva is a better god than Zin. Generally I would only switch to Zin instead of Jiyva in these situations: 1) I am already worshipping TSO or Ely and/or I plan to worship TSO or Ely after I cure my mutations 2) I have so many bad mutations that I can't be sure Jiyva will actually cure them all 3) I have a crap ton of gold so I'm going to just buy 6* Zin piety, cure muts, and then switch back to my old god Zin is also ok for doing hells if you have some method of regen. Even without regen he's probably better than TSO for hells for some characters but it will be annoyingly long because of how much time you spend resting. | ||

Well TL seems to be doing pretty well so far, thanks to eeviac and Celerity winning. I'm probably on my way to a drtm win unless the fact I have had terrible items catches up to me eventually. | ||
