I got in on the BF3 alpha, so my perorder was rather nice (Got MoH as my free game, total garbage. Worst game in the 12 years I've ever played video games). Can't wait for Tues, need something to balance SC2 out.

I assume that he means EA and SW:TOR, not DICE, in which case I hope that their experience with supporting countless other online games comes in handy to ensure that BF3 runs well on release.

If you have a top PC and can't run this on ultra, i'd buy a console and never touch PC again.

@zh1nt0 so would one GTX580 run it on ultra? Or do I need two of them?

I promised myself every day for a week that I would preorder it before the 25th do that I could get in the beta but ended up forgetting. Extremely dissapointed in myself but atleast I got to play in the alpha for 3 days.Sent from my terrible itouch

Well that's on Ultra they already said the recommended setup is for High which I mean com'on we all know is probably no different. Someone mentioned it before that the game is meant to be good looking years from now so having the best looking visuals at release is almost a waste in a way since you can wait 6 months and pay much less for the same thing.

I personally have never ran a game on the highest settings except for BF2 but that was only because my computer can do that easily (since its old). I always prefer the lowest settings but a medium/high resolution, those other graphical tweaks don't seem to ever be worth the money (except SC2 which changes dramatically from low to anything above, but even then medium looks almost the same as ultra).

lol why because you couldn't max out a single game its a rage "never well I play pc games again!" just seems silly. Especially when the pc version is way superior to the console version (graphics, player sizes, server options, etc).
