Do you have a source on that number? Sounds interesting.

My assumption is that running Frostbite 2.0 and the destructive environment causes a huge amount of data to be distributed to every player. There are more objects in the game, and every time something changes, the data has to be sent to every player. From a simple fence cut, to windows being broken, to a building collapse and calculating who dies, the server has to parse out the information of the state, and my guess is that there's too much data to handle at a short period of time. Though I agree with you that DICE might have gotten lazy somewhere, mostly through not testing these effects that might happen.
While I agree you're likely completely correct on the reasoning. One can only wonder how they managed to make it less efficient than the original frostbite engine. In BC2 there was actually more destruction, and arguably very close to as good graphics as we have now. Most maps were slightly smaller and there were less players. I just don't see how that can ever justify doing anything clientside. Anyone with a history of slightly competitive games will know that working clientside with anything is bound to lead to dll injects, which are now plaguing us. That is just in addition to how bad it has made lag look.
Think back to the alpha and beta tests on metro/caspian. There were tons of bugs and imbalances, you fell through the ground routinely etc. What didn't happen though, was this retarded sort of out of sync lag.
What frustrates me the most, more than corner shots and instant looking deaths from 10 damage weapons, is the fact that it's utterly impossible to shoot someone who is vaulting because of how the client works. The actual hitbox is basically nonexistant for most of the vaulting animation, and thus you always end up wasting a magazine on the guy just to have him turn around and shoot back.
On an unrelated note. I'm almost reaching 200 hours played by now. What I then don't understand is how the respective US and Rus service medals(100 hrs played on each team) aren't even close to being done. I know other people I play with have reported similarly.

daily patches because you dont need to pay for it
It doesent need to be daily XD but i already paid for it when i bought the unfinished product. Also i will pay for it in future when i buy DLC wich i will only do if the game starts getting better support.

Why? Did you buy a warranty or something? Follow-up fixing is something done out of courtesy. If DICE wanted to, they could close up shop completely today, and nobody could do a damn thing about it. You buy products at face value; patching is only meant to keep existing customers happy and buying more products down the road... it's marketing more than anything really.

Nope, now it's more flexible, but the best setup is no foregrip, heavy barrel for best default setup.

Yeah, I remember I switched from suppressor to heavy barrel on the M416a, and my K/D went up substantially. Suppressors just kinda suck, to be honest. I still use foregrip though.
So this double EXP weekend on the PC has help me with accelerating my SPM gain, but it might be too much. I've gained over 10 SPM in a single gaming session, where it would probably take me over two weeks to get that amount given the amount of time I have played on my account.
Well, Flash suppressor is a good default attachment, as it's good all around, but the HB gives more of a bonus for a slightly more negative tradeoff. With that said, you can't go wrong with either.
The glitch where when you get revived but you can't zoom with your weapon always makes me regret not putting a laser pointer instead of a suppressor on the weapon.
I might even have to read back up on what the attachments even do these days. I remember me and my friends unanimously agreeing flash suppressor was the best for all of our playstyles when the patch was released, but now I have no idea anymore.
As for SPM, it'll almost without question drop again rather quickly after the weekend ends regardless.
