Increased accuracy while firing from the hip. Whether that means while standing, crouching, prone, or firing without aiming first idk.

Need points for the jet? Assign an attack point, start spotting out, set up a squad beacon etc etc. Think outside the box when leveling up things that are hard to level up, and although it goes slow, some points are better than none.

I set my mouse up and down to my side buttons and I'm still getting used to using them but when I do its going to be so much better to fly a jet. ATM the #1 jet user on ladder uses keyboard and mouse so I'm slowly getting off the joystick bandwagon and back onto the "just play better" practice wagon :D

All the non-retard ones I've found so far tend to just be guys dicking around and going like 20-3 each with 4x engies lobbing rpgs everywhere. Kind of fun to watch for a while, but doesn't teach me much as I have zero interest in abusing the engy right now. im gonna try set up streaming tonight after out team finishes scrimming against SQL http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/iM-zoltESPORTS/stats/351325313/ as you can see i dont really run around spamming rockets, although im not so sure if my net will be smooth enough

I think I used an hour and 3-4 game rounds to unlock RDS for the SCAR-H. When I finally got it, I got the next unlock in one lifespan (10+ kills without dying). The difference is sooo big. Especially on that weapon, the ironsight is so bad.

(that is actually the main source of deaths in my chopper and is really really annoying) another way to get at least some points is to capture flags. I know its not much, but at least something.

Strangely, I didn't earn any points for the repairs though...anybody else notice this? Thats a known bug, iirc i read some dice employees blog and they were gonna fix that in the upcoming patch.

When i was playing conquest on damavand peak two guys from the opposing team were flying over the mountain and one of them would steer the heli in a low swoop above our base and the other guy jumped out of the heli directly into our heli after it spawned :O By the time i figured out to plant C4 on our heli the round was over and we got ownt :D

The Little Bird is the shit once you start unlocking heat seakers. I've still got a bit before I get air to ground. But the mini gun and the mobility destroys ground infantry when you get the hang of it. The trick, like someone said, is to get used to evading and killing AA infantry and guns.

![]() When I see a red "Lock" on my HUD, does that mean that there's a SOFLAM or other aircraft locked onto me? Do vehicles start with default heat seeking missiles or just the gun?

No vehicles start with heat seakers, but a week after release there's a lot of people with them already. So if you happen to land on a server without too many people with them or stingers, you best be cheesing your unlocks!

Any tips for timing their release? So in order for the stinger to be effective, I'd need a recon to paint the target first? As an engineer, how can I tell that an aircraft has been SOFLAMed? I WANNA JOIN A TEAM WITH TEAMSPEAK AND COMMANDERS AND SHIT. I LOVE THIS GAME!
