Other than that, fantastic game, really fun. My only complaint is that the campaign is a little too easy, too scripted and the ai is pretty weak. I'm already over my bandwidth for the month and my ISP fucking charges $2/gb over the limit. I'm not paying an extra 20$ to dl a game to my ISP. Unless origin saying "download" is really synching from the DVD, but I don't know if I want to risk it. EDIT: it seems I was correct or I hope so. If you are installing from the DVD, "download" really means just installing from the CD onto origin. | ||

msi p671-c43 motherboard 4gb ram (ddr3 some clock i forgot) i5 2500k cpu radeon hd 6850 w/ 1gb and slightly overclocked (since I have the sapphire version which has a better cooler) some normal sata hard drive and the game still has TERRIBLE "reload" lags. on every map except operation metro i get a terrible spike of like 2 to 3 seconds when I die for example, the map switches the camera view to another region and has to load some textures and reload some VBOs to the graphic card memory. this also happens randomly when i play and turn around fast, or when I cross a region where their octrees load more stuff into gpu memory. this happens a lot actually and has caused me to die several times. also the game crashes a TON on startups of games. when i join a server, it crashes while loading, and sometimes it finishes loading and then crashes on class select/deploy screen. i think this will get fixed in a further driver catalyst update (i already have the 11.10 version), but for now this really sucks. ------------------------------------------------------------ other than that, the game is freaking awesome. I think the sound in this game does a good 70% of why the atmosphere in this game is so amazing. | ||
