Can someone tell my why my game runs better on 1600x900 resolution compared to 1280x720? I play on all settings low or off if available. i3 540 cpu/hd 5770 gpu edit-To the dude saying the game felt like crap I think you just need to be positive and adjust to how things are changing, I didn't like it at first but now I love it oh and grenades are awesome also all iron sights are very easy to acquire targets with and even sometimes more so than scopes, etc. Sad to see you don't like it. :/

As long I don't die half a map away from a far ranged shotgun, then I'm fine with it.

While I was exaggerating for some comical effect, I was more making a commentary on the ridiculous recoil implemented in the game... I used to think that the Crysis 2 recoil was nearly unbearable but this is just uncalledfor-bad... And as for those you you who simply write of my statement as evidence that I am simply "bad" at shooter games, then I can provide evidence from a wide variety of shooter games to demonstrate my experience and the fact that I am "decent" or "respectable" at them... But yes, I went in biased against the game, and was not disappointed.

The map was too small, everyone just laid down in bushes and was rarely aggressive. I think I'll wait for the game to come out, that session wasn't remotely entertaining. This is exactly the same way i felt, even though i spent 2 hours instead of 5 minutes... I used to think that arma 2 had the most retarded clunky controls of any first person shooter, then I tried battle field 3 and got a serious lesson in "be careful what you wish for"... All together, i felt that my soldier was too drunk to tie his ^&*(ing shoes, much less fire a gun with any percision... Starting from level 1 I felt the noob handicaps bash me over the head going 3 and 12 my first game after having respectable success in the other battle field games and fps games in general... Trying to figure out my controls and make a choice between turning raw mouse input on and off made up my first glorious death streak as you can't actually do ANYTHING unless your in a game, and unless your actually alive... I guess that's just another penalty for death. Beyond that, I felt really frustrated in teh several moments when i would sight down the pointy junk on top of my gun and aim at what I KNEW was enemies... so i would tag them Q and what not, but I couldn't actually hit people for shit, regardless of whether i was being conservative and throwing one lead dart at a time, or just dumping the whole bucket of bullets in a 30 foot circle around their face. Grenades feel completely useless, and If you have any dislike of them from their effective counterparts in other games, than you will LOVE their absence... RPGs, well they're existence is diminished by the REMOVAL of destruction 2.0 down to nearly NOTHING being destructible at all... so much for maps being dynamic... And to top it all off, when I finally did break through my suffering loses and attached some shitty Russian looking thing to the top of my beautiful k-something or other... I sighted in and my frames per second literally shoved my face into a toilet... The kits and class based roles feel completely absent (in effect, despite them distinguishing the weapon choices... which also feel completely pointless being that there is no easily found system of comparison) ALL in ALL, the 2 hours of game time and the 1 hour bashing my head against EA Origins was quite possibly so terrible I would much rather have been studying for the silly foriegn language test I have the next day... so thank you EA for piquing my interest, only to find that there never was any cake in the box to begin with... F#$%YOU! so you cant aim and you have a shitty computer and you wanna blame the game While I was exaggerating for some comical effect, I was more making a commentary on the ridiculous recoil implemented in the game... But yes, I went in biased against the game, and was not disappointed. people complaining about recoil so transparently never played something like DoD and just came from the cod series. lol. the recoil is EZ. if there was less, noone would get anywhere because you'd instadie to spam
DoD is such an awesome game (not the Source version). I say it's the best WW2 fps shooter in my eyes. I want to play it again, but there's few servers now a days.

Dont really fancy this web browser server lists and all that. And I do hope they fix so you can change squad because as of now, you can just leave your squad and then join it again.
