I go to the folder location and it's 3.9GB and no longer downloading anything additional, but Origin has BF3 beta stuck at 100% and still downloading something when mousing over the download bar.
I'm not confusing motion blur for suppression...motion blur might be used in that effect but what I am talking about is a game setting that when you attempt to turn it off in game it just resets it and is the only setting to do so which requires you to edit the main settings file with an editor that I don't have or know where to get. Hence my question: does anyone know what editor I need to edit the file to turn off motion blur.
Yea so I clipped about 10min worth of decent to awesome jet dogfights from the Battlefield 3 Beta. Still going to take awhile to get back to my old bf2 jet skill but its slowly coming back Enjoy the video, I get a few pretty nice kills. Plz sub/thumbs up the video if you liked it
I still cannot join any server. It goes 'Joining Server' then a little box comes up with 'Launching BF3 Beta' Then it disappears, then no matter how long I wait, it stay's on 'Joining server'
really annoying problem, the mouse in the main menu is offset by like an inch vertically and horizontally.. so i have to click in the middle of nowhere to access the items in the menu.. any ideas how to fix this? I have a really normal computer.. win7 64bit, updated drivers, gtx560ti, 4gb ram, q6600 happens only in fullscreen

Have you formatted the game to your screen? I had to do that real fast and it fixed everything.

Try running desktop resolution if you aren't already.

It's not for everyone. Though I must say, Caspian Border is just a fucking trillion times better than Operation: Metro. I mean, in a million different ways is it so fucking good. That and this is a much earlier build for testing bugs, not to make the game the most fun for people *nod*

I really felt like I was playing BF2 again when I was banking a Jet and looked out and then saw it:
Dozens of people fighting all across the map. AA guns shooting into the air like crazy, tanks moving on positions and massive infantry battles that would last for minutes. I mean, it was just so fucking good, I'm hyped man.

On Caspian Border. Which a lot of players can't access right now.
Also, if you are getting "constantly sniped" you are just simply bad. Don't blame the game. I am going 20-5ish every single game on average on Operation Metro on Assault, don't even get me started on Defense. People are over sniping sometimes, yes, but it's by no means a problem nor will it be because it's so rarely happening.
Trust me, when everyone gets to play on Caspian Border you will get your plethora of vehicles.
Just spam alota clicks and pray u get in. Once you get in a server, I don't recommend leaving. And holy shit I'm not used to destructible buildings. Tanks have scared the living shit outta me a few times when they've blasted down the wall.

I almost shat myself when I was running down a street and a tank shot out a wall ~10m away from me and it knocked me right onto my ass.

Edit: oh and this game is glorious!!! feels different to bc2 tbh but in a good way. at first i thought the popups for score (e.g. Killing the Enemy - 100) would be annoying like mw2 but i barely notice them since theres no sound for it :D
can't believe this is what passes as a 'good' game these days. I know it's beta but get real, this is bad, bad, bad. Improvements to graphics and never to game play, no wonder mainstream games continue to blow. /gets back to SC2.
