Putting aside the crashes and the clipping issues, I think the game resembles CoD much more than it does BF2/BF2142. Here's what I have beef with so far, after playing around 5-6h. [list] [*]The camouflage on the models is too good. I feel like I shouldn't have to strain my sight just to see people running in the park. People inside bushes are pretty much invisible. It's a game for God's sake. It should be fun to play, not try to simulate realism to the extent of forgoing gameplay and fun. [*]The minimap is so small it's practically useless. Should be less transparent and at least 2x bigger. Did you know that you can hit "N" to make the minimap ~4x bigger? And less transparent? No way, I don't want my hud obscuring someone who is trying to kill me. [*The weapons feel very deadly. To be honest it feels like I'm playing on hardcore MW1. Maybe they should tone down the damage a little so 3 bullets from an AS wouldn't kill someone for normal mode. Shouldn't they feel deadly? I mean, this isn't Quake. If I get the drop on you and put a burst in your chest, you should go down. You should feel scared when bullets come your way. [*]Flashlights. Revealing on snipers and stupidly annoying on short-medium range weapons. Maybe snipers wouldn't need to be revealed if the camouflage wasn't so goddamn perfect? And please make my ally's flashlights not blind me every time they pass me by. I understand it on for the enemy's flashlight to blind me but not my ally's for godsake. Agree on the snipers, disagree on allied flashlights. Snipers are pissing me off at the moment. Still, when clans and organized teams start attacking as units, sitting at the back of the map and picking people off will not get you many wins. In games I respect, allied flashbangs blind you. Allied flashlights should blind you in BF3. Anything that prevents your enemy from seeing is very powerful, and should have some sort of drawback/backfire to its use. [*]Characters bumping into each other. I've been pushed out a door into open enemy fire more than enough to start hating this feature. Agreed. Collide, yes, but don't push. [*]Spotting. Not enough of it. Currently, I think only recons can spot, coupled with the retarded camouflage and the high weapon damage, this promotes a very high level of defensive play or straight out camping or turtle pushing. Not fun. Again, I agree, but when clans start forming these types of bitch strats will not work. They will just call you out on teamspeak and have a heli or fighter jet bomb your position. [*]No unlock tree. I want to choose my unlocks. Not the game doing it for me. Also, it would be nice if unlocks would transfer over to other weapons in the given class.Currently, with the unlock system it feels like a grind and like CoD. More is not necessarily better. The class system sort of serves as an unlock tree, but I see your point. [*]A better loadout menu. I don't want to scroll through every weapon until I find the one I want. Make a dropout menu with PICTURES. Yes yes yes ![]() [*]The option of going into OPTIONS without having to be deplyed and alive. Haha I think this has to be a beta thing. [*]Knifing. Dramatic animations need to go, or at least need to be a toggle option. I could have landed 2-3 more knife kills on an unsuspecting squad if not for the damn dramatic animation starting up and taking my precious 5s of killing time. I think they switched to this because knife streaks were too powerful before, but yes in theory I agree with you. [*]The lightning sucks ass and is too realistic. Being blinded when you go from indoors to the outside sucks. The lighting is beautiful bro, gotta disagree.

You aren't rolling around with pea-shooters like in Call of Duty, and you aren't shooting ballistic missiles constantly like from Killzone or Bad Company 2. It just feels so smooth. yah, love the gameplay makes up for all the annoying bugs

To fix bugs, to fix server strength, so on and so forth. It's going to be buggy as fuck, the sound is going to be a bit messed up. That's the point. So looking past all of the minor bugs that will be fixed, this game is very good so far.
