Everyone can spot I am pretty sure. The difference here is if I am in view to spot and not shooting already, I am probably dead. In BC2 I would spot everything but in this I only really spot vehicles because I don't have time to do anything else. Another thing I would do is spot someone who shoots at me even though I am going to die. In BF3 I am already dead.

My only beef is I keep having the server time out on me so I've only finished two games out of like 20. Other than that this game is quite nice. Runs like a dream on my computer too

I haven't played many shooters in my time, so please don't hate me for saying this. In my opinion, this game seems a lot like MoH...just bigger, and more beautiful. Is this how it has always been, or no? I've never played the previous Battlefield games, and my only other shooter experience comes from MoH and CoD.

Nah they just released a map for the COD retards so they don't get too overwhelmed. Caspian is much better and is more BF style.

I'm hoping they add a new map for the 360 beta. Metro got really boring really fast, and the squad system on the 360 really sucks.

Downloaded the Beta a couple of hours ago for PC, and I've got to say, this game freaking rocks.

I was worried that my GTX470 and AMD II x4 970 wouldn't give me decent frame rates, but at mostly high settings with low shadows and anti-aliasing at 1680x1050 I get pretty decent results.

I think in terms of gameplay it feels a lot more like MoH than BC2, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I also really like how you can actually switch to a knife, which is something that games these days seem to have lost... The ones that I play anyway. I also really like how the weapons are more customizable than they were in BC2. Also, being able to go Prone is the best thing ever. And rockets sound really cool when they wizz over your head in Metro.

If there are a few things that I don't like however, it's the fact that every other person seems to have some sort of light emitting device on their weapon, whether it be the Tac. Light, the Laser Pointer or the glinting sniper scopes.

well, that's BF, it gives that fun "war experience" and everything but I wouldn't call it all that serious.

Question for those that have played the Caspian border map- how much does your FPS decrease compared to your FPS on Operation Metro, if any? Get around 30 fps on ultra and wondering if I can keep playing at that setting on the larger maps or not.

I've never been into BF really, but this beta got me fucking hooked. Think ive played 7-8 hours, mostly on Caspian and a bit of rush. The thick atmosphere from the graphic/sound design, and the fun gameplay just grapped me by my nuts. School tomorrow with minimum sleep is gonna be rough, but so worth it.

Well its pretty laggy for me no matter what settings I put it as i'm pretty sure its just unoptimized and possibly memory leaks are why (there are people with beastly pc's who get the same problem as me and their computers are way better then mine).

I get 35-45 fps average on metro. I'm pretty sure once it gets more optimized (and there aren't 100000's of people trying to join a full server) it'll get a lot smoother and what not.
