I had one of those last night. Went in to the city, talked with some people, and got quests to find dragon roosts a bit outside of town. :>

Hey guys, I am using the PS3 version of Skyrim. Is it normal that your old character gets deleted when you make a new one? It just doesn't make sense for that to happen, it's ridicolous. Is it a bug or something?

maybe uf you paly on lower difficulty they last longer, that would also explain why some people say the dragons are so weak ^^

Alright, I never played an RPG before as big as this. As a starter, would Skyrim be a good choice? Also, my computer has just over the minimum specs, is this game worth playing on low settings?

It depends on the attack they receive before "dying" I think... some attacks will cause them to just kneel down for a while (or until battle is over), others will actually kill them. @salosu, either she died or she'll show up at your house / dragonsreach palace later if you accidentally told her to leave (I actually did that and freaked out) ^^

I really recommend the game. And i think playing it on low settings is fine.

I am a level 5 mage, and just completed one of the College quests. I got a staff from it, but I wonder, I've been going dual casting so far with lightning/frost mix, and so, would it be worth to go staff+1hand magic or use staff only when OOM?
Also, what can a mage do with dragon bones?

Level 20 Sneaky Archer , loving this game so much so far and i only been at 2 cities.

Dragons are a joke on the default difficulty level, you can tank them as a mage with just robes and just whack away with a sword and win. Changed my difficulty to hardest now, hopefully they will provide a challenge next time I meet one.

I play a sneaky thief/archer type of character, and on hardest I don't stand a chance vs a dragon. I had to change to default to beat them

Poison and stamina tips on two bows. Try it out its how I've killed big stuff before

well there where no quests like that, i had to reload ("accidentally" killed some dude) and when i reentered the town the dragon attacked normally.

Talk to her and ask her to hold items. I think she basically equips the best stuff you give her
