It does nerve me that it performs poorly, especially considering it's using an engine that's been running on PC for awhile now.
Nonetheless I'm still excited to try and play it.
From what I can tell it's more of a mix of CoD4 and MW2, with more of CoD4 than MW2 in there, and a whole new loadout system.
EDIT: I can't actually play yet, thanks to Steam waiting until 10AM Eastern US.

If you can run SC2 in Medium setting im pretty sure you can run this game with ez.

I run SC2 on Ultra, its not the settings, there are problems in the game engines for PC. Fallout NV runs just as bad in low settings as it does in ultra high.

Personally I think CoD is very unbalanced, they dont really ever make any changes to the game. I strongly dislike the producers of the series.

Game runs fun on my 460 so far, but I can't say anything definitive yet since Steam seems to be crapping out all over the place so I keep on losing connection to the game servers.

Running well here too, only a little graphics lag. Gonna turn down the settings, should be smooth then. Multiplayer is pretty fun so far, got no real complaints about it either.

This game is shit. Do not buy it.
Modern Warfare CoD4 is the best still.
Very much so a console port but everything is hilariously bad. The movement, the menus, the feel, the voice acting, it's like a free to play shooter game.
Actually, Battlefield has a free to play shooter that is better than this piece of shit excuse of a game.
They've made money off the success of CoD4 with MW2 and this one. I don't think anyone is going to buy their next game.
I feel like a fucking idiot for preordering.

Sadly, you are so wrong - I think. People are going to buy the next one just like they bought this one. MW2 not having dedicated servers was where I stopped buying the CoD line. I thought to myself for sure people will not buy this, but it made so many sales. Every company seems to know it too. That is why there have been soooo many being released so far.

Eh don't know what crap you guys are running but I've had no problems whatsoever with this game so far. Mind you I haven't even tried the singleplayer yet. I've only been playing the multiplayer.

So is it crap? is it good? can anyone give me some pros-cons so far because i was a huge fan of the CoD line (till CoD WaW) and would like to buy this one if it is good(especially the multiplayer). The Wager modes look nice but dunno dont want to get the game and get smashed by some noobie-launcher-akimbo-Uberperk gameplay

If your looking for a mw2 successor, go look somewhere else imo, its alot more world at war (logical since its that same devolper)
Its pretty good but the insane amount of lag makes it unplayable atm on the servers(probably due to the stress the servers are having currently)
The weapons i am not so sure about yet, i'm only level 10 tho pistols look great, but the m16 looks like a frigging toy gun
Edit: PC servers seem down,anyone else?
