The glorious NES days:

1. Battle City: Such an addictive game... There was a mod called "Missile Tank" that allow the enemy tanks to eat the power-ups which made the game much more fun. Strangely enough, the two people I remember playing this game with are both girls (a girl of my age and my relative who is 2 year older than me).



2. Contra + Super Contra: Probably the only games I remember playing with my dad.





3. Jackal: There was a weird bug in my NES that make the game sometimes crash when there was a yellow tank that I somehow still remember till this day.



4. Bomberman, Circus Charlie, Excite Bike, Gun Smoke, Ice Climber, Ikari Warriors, Joe & Mac, M.U.S.C.L.E, Side Pocket, Tetris, The legend of Kage, 1943: The battle of Midway, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Rush'n Attack - All so dear and close...

The mysterious SEGA Genesis days:

1. A game with a boy carrying a suitcase (or a bag?) going left to right like any other 2D game. It's really bugging me that I can't find the name of this game (I did make a blog on TL about this but no one could find it).

2. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers:



3. Dragon Ball Z Buyuu Retsuden: Too bad there are now no where to find the awesome moves of this game.

The epic SNES days:

1. Biker Mice from Mars: BEST GAME EVERRRR!!!! I have orgasm every time I play it. Me and my friend used to do rock-paper-scissor to decide which game to play (me: Biker mice, him: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)


2. Sunset Riders: This game is too hard for me now.



3. Super Bomberman 3: Can't play this game alone.



4. Super Mario World



5. Top Gear 2: I always played this game alone. Very addictive.



6. Tetris Attack (Panel De Pon): Oh this game... It was crazy popular here. There are still many people in Vietnam who play this game competitively now. There is usually one SNES next to the PS2's in the console bangs just for this game. (I suck at it btw).

The how-can-I-forget PS1 days:

I didn't know it would change my life forever when my dad brought home a PS1.

1. The one and only Final Fantasy IX: I took nearly 4 years to complete this game since there was no internet back then to find walkthroughs and tips, and broken discs + memory cards didn't help either... I once walked ~1,5 miles just to buy a disc. (that was a long distance for a kid...).



2. Final Fantasy VIII: Probably my first PS1 game, got spoiled from the beginning to the end by my brother (he was a live walkthrough)



3. Twisted Metal 2: My best friend became short-sighted because of this game. I didn't play it with him though.



4. Yugioh! Forbidden Memories: I just played it a few hours ago.



5. Parasite Eve II: IMHO a much better game than Resident Evil. My dad also played a lot but never got to the end. (I did).



6. The Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Cross and Dino Crisis 2: Not as memorable as the above games, but still have a nice place in my collection.
