Thanks man, I'm a sucker for good video game soundtracks. After listening to your playlist, I HAD to buy the game! ^^
The digital version of the soundtrack is only $3.99 for those interested. I haven't played the game, but I do love the soundtrack. I gladly paid $3.99 to support dBSoundworks.

And WOW, it's so much better. Controls are actually precise now and jumps and landings can be timed well.
Actually, keyboard worked fine for me, better than a cheap gamepad I had lying around. Mainly because my keyboard mechanics are trained a lot, while i didn't use a controller for years :D. I currently play it with an arcade stick now though.
The retail version is about to be released: Super Meat Boy - Ultra Edition
The difference to other releases is that the included many exclusive Items: "playable alien hominid, 40 page behind the scenes sketchbook/comic -Pull out mini poster -Digital Soundtrack -Tons of extras including wallpapers, character art, development photos, sound FX, game trailers, cube crafts and warp zone art"
Only $20 are not that much to support such a little gaming jewel. GO BUY IT!
This shit is like minecraft ( u know... the guy that made "the enterprise..." 1/1 scale? ), its just a freaking good idea, beating millions of dollars in huge companies... There is still hope :D.
This has been said quintillion times in the thread already but the game is great. If you have any interest in platformers at all just get it, in fact I don't have any interest in platformers and I still greatly enjoyed it. Frustrating but in a good way. Also one of the few games I feel inclined to play with the sound on for purposes other than performance, the music is amazing and fits well with the gameplay.
I'm currently on 6-5: Omega. And the level is DRIVING ME MAD. I freaking die every single time I try to get down again after obtaining the key. Wallhopping won't work - instead of gently hopping to the other side, Meat Boy will inexplicably jump UP into the saw on the other side. If I try to just drop down, I scew it up every single time.
I had to put my pad away or I'd have smashed it against the wall. ARRRGH!
I thought this game was an unbelievable steal (read: highway robbery) at $3.75 last winter, and that was before they went ahead and basically doubled the total content of the game with the "Super Meat World" DLC. For free, no less.
In this day and age where Activision feels justified in charging $15 for four maps, this is simply phenomenal gaming value. Anyone who likes games, period, needs to own this. It's a masterpiece of design, creativity, and elegance.

6-5 is such a fun level, haha. It definitely accounted for most of my deaths playing through light world (not counting Cotton Alley because that's a whole 'nother beast).
