One year ago PvE end game content were 2-3 instances to farm T13 equip. One year later it's 2-3 different instances to farm T14 equip. That's it. There're 10 and 20 man raids coming though, but the first one is just bigger Kelsaik. So yeah, unless you're in love with battle system and game's setting, Tera has nothing to offer at level 60. Maybe 1-2 weeks of fun while instances will be "fresh", after that it's all about repeating same things over and over again. It's like that in every game though. PvP is even worse though. I don't know if people are aware about fact, that before western release Tera didn't had any pvp at all. Technically it was there, but it more like duels v2.0. OwPvP is not rewarding, there's no loss or gain for it. And at level cap only place where you can catch people is dailies zones. Everyone else sitting at safe zones or doing instances. BGs are far from balanced and because matching sucks, often it's 20v10 or 15vs10 and not intended 15v15. 3v3 is ok, but gets old pretty fast too.

And new PvP content in KTera have new rings (and something else, forgot what, maybe earrings) which is better than BG ones. Anyway, +12 is not that hard to get. VM gear is much worse, so I'm not sure if I'll bother with it.

Not just you, my entire guild and I quit weeks before the f2p patch hit, after getting +12 conjunct and doing q ueen there really isn't much to do. End game content is pretty much nexus, instanced pvp, instanced pve. Once you complete the most daunting task in each category which is the gear grind basically there isn't much left to dos its just repeating the same monotonous thing and for no reason anymore. The most promising and redeeming quality is the open world pvp but since the game revolves around instanced everything more likely than not you won't find any open world action unless you like killing people you outgear severely. Mass pvp was a joke because of server instability and its probably 10x worse now that its f2p since there is a higher concentration of players with the same shit servers, so that pretty much leaves you with nothing to do once you are done with the grind. Of course you can always socialize or build a reputation ingame, like being at the top of the pvp leaderboards however the magic that comes with this pretige runs out fast, but as for content and the game itself that's all there is to it a gear continuous gear chase and really nothing to do in between the release of new items.

I think the problem is that pre-60 I never had to spend effort to get gear or glyphs. Now I do and I am not ready for it. I guess this is just design failure. If I had to stop several times during pre-60 just to find/craft gears, I would have found this game far more enjoyable post-60, I think.

The game was just developed like that, each time new gear is released it succeeds the amount of effort it would require to obtain the old gear while the dated equipment gets dramatically reduced in effort to obtain, it is in fact a never ending cycle. I haven't played many mmo's so I don't know if this is the norm but once we got to end game and came to the realization that our efforts would be reduced to nothing in a couple patches we just agreed it be better to part ways with the game. Aside from the combat system this game doesn't have much else going for it.

I personally enjoyed BGs and arena in Wow, so I'm hoping there is actually something for me to experience in Tera ever since I quit Wow. I'd say it's probably not that different from Guild War end-game, based on my experience with GW vanilla, because it seems to me that in TERA all gears are created equally (no random rolls/properties like in Diablo), and the players achieve these gears incrementally. The PvP stuff seem similar too except the size of the parties, and the end-game PvE offers quite a few very difficult dungeons.

They see demand - the push price to it's limits. I'll buy one with gold probably, but in a few days when prices will go down a bit.

I played wow's endgame from vanilla through wotlk, and I can say that its about 100x better than tera's. I didnt play the original guild wars, but guild wars 2 endgame was non-existent, I think I quit it in a month.

I'm an archer, and while pve has been fun so far, the appeal of mmos for me have always been organized pvp (was gladiator back when I played wow). I would love to transfer to join the TL guild, but I'm a little worried about a pve server. How come you guys are on a pve server, or is it different from wow? (here they're called carebear servers). Pretty sure PvP servers have nothing to do with "organized PvP". Organized PvP is about Battleground, while PvP servers are really about open world PvP. Plus you can open world PvP with guild wars, even on PvE servers.

Not really sure how guild wars work - so you declare war on another guild and can kill their members anywhere outside of cities?

I could be wrong, but as far as I can tell, the only difference of PvE and PvP servers is OWPvP. Tempest Reach's TL guild is huge, but there are very few actual TLers in it. MT's TL guild is a bit more "TL" but it's a very small guild with like 3 players. Yea, GvG is basically you can kill any enemy guild members outside.
