NFC East - Giants suck. Philly will suck this year, because they have no proven offensive players left, save for DJack. Skins... who knows? They haven't made nearly enough offensive improvements to be good right away. That leaves Dallas, the only good team in that division.
The division is wide open honestly.
Dallas' O-line sucks. Kolb is a question mark. Giants are inconsistent. No one knows how the skins are going to do.
The Skins are a major wild card out there. I'm pretty excited to see what they do this year, despite knocking them (jokingly, of course, I love McNabb) earlier in the thread. Dallas's O-Line isn't what it was a few years back, but idk if I'd say it sucks. They certainly aren't run blocking like they used to.
Have you been watching their preseason games? Their O-line is questionable even with the 2 starters they're missing right now.
Of course, it's preseason but... it's not looking good, heh.
Need a few more people for the TL fantasy football..holy shit. Draft time is tentatively set at 6:45 Sunday, September 5th. (7-9 were unavailable and 6:45 was the latest besides 10:15 and later).

I haven't, actually. I don't typically watch preseason at all.

Maybe if you answered your PM's....

Bolds were keepers. Just hoping some of them pan out so I can get a better set of keepers next year, and hopefully start competing again then before AJ gets too old to carry me... :[ Expecting to land a top pick next season!
Keeper leagues are so hard to judge people on. In any case, I think you probably have WAY too many WR's. There's no point in drafting Berrian, or Mike Williams, or Armstrong. I don't know anything about Gibson, but with Avery out, maybe you'll get value there, and Benn could potentially become a stud.
I'd like to see who you dropped to keep McCoy. I hope they were awful. Bush is a solid pick up, imo.
Starting WR's, and TE are okay though. Romo is a question mark, he's a big boom or bust type guy this year, I think. And I don't mean he'll have some great games and some crappy, I mean that he's either going to have a very good to great year, or he'll suck. I don't think there's any mediocrity there this year. There's so much WR talent, idk how he won't have a good year, even if he's on his back a lot.
i'm ok with berrian, as long as you're planning on dumping him when rice gets back For the first 8 weeks or so favre has to throw to someone, and with harvin's migraine problems and rice's surgery berrian should be the recipient of a lot of passes
My goal was to find 5 keepers at the end of this season, because keeping a QB and the 3rd ranked TE (assuming Gates doesn't return to form) was painful. As such with my lack of a 2nd round pick (and an extra 3rd and 4th) I found it really difficult to bank on finding RB keepers. Thus why I took a flier on Forsett. I kept McCoy because I had LDT and Pierre Thomas, the former of whom I think is no longer valuable and the latter of whom gave me too much of a headache. I opted to take a gamble on McCoy taking over for Westbrook and putting up decent numbers, as while Westbrook wasn't a bonafide stud, he put up good numbers when he was healthy.
The WR stack was because I wanted to find at least a third WR, but the available WR pool was really crappy... they're all boom or bust WRs, as you'd expect to find in the 8th+ round. Considering my goal isn't just to find a serviceable WR, but also to find someone worthy of keeping, and with the unpredictable-ness of WRs, I opted to stockpile. When you consider that two teams in my league have 6 good RBs and three teams (including myself) stockpiled WRs you'll have to forgive us for our ridiculous position stacking
Berrian was an accidental pick (I was alt-tabbed gg -_-), Mike Williams is the #1 receiver on TB, and a bunch of people actually wanted to draft either him or Benn (and I managed to snipe both, much to a bunch of peoples' chagrin), and Armstrong was a lollastpickw/e joke, as I went IGOTTHEONLYREDSKINSRECEIVERWORTHPICKING in the chat (lots of skins fans) that I'll prolly switch into a backup QB or TE (Heath Miller is available so I may just snag him for the time being).
Romo is #1 of keepers I'd like to not keep next year, unless he does phenomenal this year, in which case I'd have a hard time staying to my "I want to keep 3 WR 2 RB" ideal. We'll see :[
I don't think your ideal will pan out unless you get someone in FA, personally, but GL. Hopefully Romo blows up. My draft is next Monday (I'm pissed that the people in my league are big enough cock suckers to pick a Monday over a Sunday draft), I'll post the results then. I wasn't looking forward to this season at all, until very recently.

Oh, well... I was talking about finding 2 HB's, tbh.
I'm definitely not expecting to come away with a "stud" this year, fingers are crossed more for next year. Not that RBs are necessarily consistent anyways, so I'm not sure how much it matters unless you find a top-6 RB ;/
Also, hosting a survival football group if anyone is suggested. Each week, you pick one team to win. Once you pick a team, you can't use them for the rest of the year. $10 buyin payable through paypal. Winner takes home everything. If interested, PM me.
I'm a Vikes fan and not at all confident in the team this year. I drafted Berrian in a couple fantasy leagues thinking he's the clear cut #1, but in that last preseason game he still wasn't looking great. I do have hopes there though.
Farve hasn't looked too good, but I guess last year's preseason he was comporable.
My biggest worry about the vikes is that asking Farve to have another career year at the age of 40 sounds like too much to ask to me. Now that Rice is out he may be even more tempted to try to make plays. Our running game got progressively worse as the season went on last year and I'm worried Peterson will have fumbling troubles again.
Damn, the draft is now smack dab in the middle of labor day weekend. I'll be away, so I don't know if I'll be able to be at the draft at that time. I'll do my best, but damn, this sucks. I hate not being able to draft.
I almost wish I wasn't in this league now, because I'd give some of my insight on draft picks this year, but I enjoy winning a bit too much to give away my thoughts on fantasy football here.
