The defense is great, and I've seen Jay Cutler just tear secondaries apart. And I really like what I've seen from Matt Forte. And of course Devin Hester is a TD threat on every touch. If they have any weakness though, it's that O-line.

I mean, yes they'll smash the the niners anyday (and what team with a winning record wouldn't? lol), but the Bears have probably lucked out the most out of any team in the NFL. They should have lost to the Lions (TWICE), lost to Seattle and Washington, but alas I guess they did beat the Eagles once already. Regardless I still think the Eagles have a way better chance of winning out and skipping the wildcard game than the Bears do. (unless my logic and predictions are both wrong the Bears would only face the Eagles if both teams were to make it to the NFC Championship game). Which would mean the 49ers face the Eagles in the second round and get fucked anyways so my theory's shot. Not necessarily. There is no way the Bears should have lost the second game to the Lions and even the first one is debatable (they still had ~40 seconds left and the Bears' offense had been shredding the Lions' defense all day). Also, I think your logic is a bit off. The Bears and Eagles cannot meet in the NFC championship game unless the Giants take the NFC East. Let's just assume the standings wind up like this: 1. Atlanta 2. Eagles 3. Bears 4. West team 5. Saints 6. Packers/Giants So Bears play Packers/Giants and Saints play the team from the West. Let's assume Bears win. Then Chicago would travel to Philly and the winner of the other game would go to Atlanta (remember, the 1 seed always plays the lowest seeded advancing team). If the Eagles are the 3 seed, it is the same except the Eagles would travel to Chicago. I'm hearing Andrew Luck is the clear #1 (if he declares eligibility). If the players declare, this looks like it is going to be an amazing draft for CBs. The draft is likely going to be very weak for OL. Luck is the highest graded QB prospect since Peyton Manning, and I would be shocked if he wasn't one of the top 2 picks (he will almost definitely be #1 unless Carolina insists that Clausen is their QB of the future). Patrick Peterson (CB) and A.J. Green (WR) should both be top 5 picks. Da'Quan Bowers (DE), Marcell Darius (DT), and Prince Amukamara (CB) should be top 10 picks. It is hard to say anything more definitive beyond that because most of the mocks have teams reaching for the next few QB prospects (Cam Newton, Ryan Mallett, and Jake Locker) and the NFL has allowed QBs to free fall (Rodgers, Leinart, Quinn, Clausen) in recent years. Look for at least one of them to be picked in the top 10 simply because there are a lot of QB-needy teams which may be picking in the top 10 (Carolina, Cincy, Arizona, Minnesota, San Francisco, Washington, Buffalo) and one of them will probably fall in love with a prospect and pull the trigger early, but I doubt all 3 will be picked top 10.

At the same time, if there's no labor agreement then there's no draft so maybe this is a moot point ><

He could get hurt if he stayed for another year, or maybe he would regress like Leinart and drop from an almost assured #1 pick down to #10 (difference of tens of millions). Yeah, maybe you want to avoid the Panthers, but at the same time the potential financial loss that he would have if he took 1 big hit in the next year........ At the same time, if there's no labor agreement then there's no draft so maybe this is a moot point >< No, they will hold a draft even if there's no labor agreement. However, teams will not be allowed to sign the players they have drafted and teams may only trade picks, not players.

Sure, they don't roll like the Pats, but the Bears are definitely a good team that can hang with anyone (except New England, apparently). If they have any weakness though, it's that O-line. Maybe it's my hatred of Mike Martz (he rigged the 49ers starting QB competition, plus tries to make his offense try to adapt to his system not vice versa), their special teams and defense bailing out their woeful offense (Hester's a beast), my lack of faith in Jake Culter (he's ticking time-bomb imo), and their pathetic offense (again, courtesy of Mike Martz) and that it's the Chicago Bears. Those are my reasons why I feel like the Bears are overrated and won't make it very deep into the playoffs. A lot of it's opinionated, but i feel confident in saying that the Bears won't make it to the NFC championship game.

There are so many football players who do this today, and so many famous football players we idolize that have done this. It's just that Vick got caught and convicted of it, so now he's some sociopathic sadist. Yes, he did something evil. He went to jail for two years, he came out, and for all intents and purposes, he's rehabilitated. Give him a chance.
