I'm pretty sure it's a mix of them starting off a bit slow, and people still sick of getting WAAAY too much Saints coverage last year. I've never seen a sports story pounded into the ground more than their's last year.
I hope the Eagles don't make / win the super bowl just because the Michael Vick coverage would be so insanely overbearing.
Yeah, I didn't mind the Saints until last year. It's been fucking six years and they're still talking about how much this means for the recovery from Katrina. Fucking shut up about it already. I hate them now, because they wouldn't stop with this bullshit feel good story about the team, as if we needed more than awesome football to watch them. That Super Bowl was one of the most intriguing match ups of the past ten years, imo. Two powerful offenses, with D's that were taking the ball away. To top it off, they were the #1 seeds, and Indy could probably have gone undefeated if they really wanted to last season... granted, they would have ended like the Pats, but they could have finished the regular season without a loss had they not pulled their starters.
I try to not to really hate any team, even the cowboys. They are all the same, its people doing their job. I really hate the football media, its a joke. Last year they wouldn't shut up about the saints, and this year they won't shut up about Vick, Favre, and how bad the cowboys are. They are just a bunch of clowns talking about what team is more physical. You see Bob, The Eagles are just more physical on both sides of the ball, and have more big plays which win them games. Their methodical and explosive weapons will pay huge dividends down the stretch.

Yeah, I don't really hate them, I've just developed a disliking for them recently. I'd prefer to see them lose. I use the word hate too liberally, I guess.
Brandon lloyd's meteoric rise has officially ended in a pathetic thud.
One of hte team's in our FF Super Bowl has Lloyd and Dbowe. He got a total of 5 points out of them over 2 weeks, and it looks like that trend might continue.
this weekend has the potential for the GOAT qb hilarity show. flynn, tebow, skelton, mccoy, grossman, clausen, smith, kitna, webb, collins, hopefully croyle, add in some sanchize and cutlahhhhh bonus features
Benching Mcnabb is so stupid. I hate when teams put the entire blame on one player who hasn't even been there for a full season. Redskins have bigger problems than the quarterback position. Seems that anyone who plays QB for the redskins sucks. They need a new offensive line and some wide receivers. Their defense needs to play more consistent too.

I really wish they hadn't. Then there wouldn't have been such ridiculous Jets hype all season for a team which isn't really that good (because the Jets wouldn't have made the playoffs last year).

i don't know. obv the o-line isn't great, need more options than moss/cooley and their secondary is also LOL, but mcnabb was making so many errors that aren't reflected in the box score at all last week. thing is that washington are done for this season - why risk having him pick up an injury, see whether grossman is still terrible.

Yeah, don't compare Kitna, Cutler and McCoy to the rest of that bunch. Kitna and Cutler (aside from the Patriots game) have been quite solid and Colt McCoy is great for a rookie who came into the season not expecting to start.

Saints were a great feel good story. The media overdid it last year but it WAS a really big deal to the team and city to finally shake off that loser's history they'd developed for 40 years.
I'm an enormous saints fan and have been since I was a little kid, though, so I'm really biased about it.

McCoy is looking fantastic this year. The only time the Browns have looked good is when he was throwing.
Cutler is arrogant, that's why he keeps doing what he's doing, imo.
Kitna is having, probably, the best season of his career.
Absolutely in agreement with this.
Haha, I was looking through the thread, it's ridiculous how many of the posts in here are mine.
QB-Rivers WR-reggie wayne WR- ?? Deion Branch or Webb(who is QB for Vikings this week) RB- Charles RB- Hillis TE- Daniels Flex:Tolbert K-Bryant D-Chicago
tolbert and rivers have me sitting nicely right now but the advice I need is
Deion Branch or Joe Webb at my second WR slot.... Webb is starting as a QB.. so its a sneaky way to get extra points...
