I'm thinking of starting Jacobs over S.Jackson. Thoughts? I already have Lesean Mccoy starting for sure. Might seem a little stupid but I have a feeling. Plus Jackson has only had 4 touchdowns this season
|
As an aside, I feel so bad for S Jax, he's so freaking good and he's been wasted on so many shit teams. Hopefully Bradford is for real and keeps improving over the years
|
Bradford looks like the real deal. He's putting up amazing numbers for a rookie, with a shit team around him, aside from SJax. His #1 and #2 WR's are both out, and he has no TE as a safety net. This dude is gonna be SICK.

Bradford is quite amazing. I'm also looking forward to Colt McCoy. From what I've seen he is quite solid.
|
He also has one of the top 3 greatest quarterback names
|
Would it be crazy to start Bradshaw and McCoy over AP? I mean, considering the sad QB situation in Minnesota and the tough Bears defense, I can see a lack of production from him. But he's freaking AP ~.~
|
^ not really then again i'm a rabid eagles fan :x
plus it's not like AP has been producing insanely AP-like results lately anyway ( sorry buffalo doesn't count)
|
Bradshaw is a bit of a risk, imo, due to the fumblitis he's come down with this season. In any case, after what the Bears did to AP the first time... I'm just not sure you can play him this week. Your backups are definitely good players, and both are huge parts of their offense.
|
TJack is now on IR. So now the Vikings' starting QB will either be Favre (who, last I heard, has no feeling in his right arm), or Joe Webb. Patrick Ramsey (who signed this week) is Webb's backup. Either way, I'm guessing Chicago loads up against the run. Now AP has historically been amazing vs. the Bears, so benching him takes a little more thought, but if the Bears get Tinoisamoa back and Favre doesn't play, look for that game to be pretty ugly for AP.
EDIT: never mind, Tino is out until the postseason. Honestly, I think AP has a decent game due to sheer number of carries. I mean, what else can the Vikings do?

If you sit either of those people for arguably the best RB in the game, I will personally dickpunch you. Bradshaw isn't even getting the bulk of the carries.

Wow, there is no way the Vikings are going to win this week. Bears lock the division Monday night!

Actually Bradshaw gets more carries than Jacobs still. Jacob is just the "starter" and is putting up just as much yards with less carries.

Bah, idk why I thought that. I guess the week prior to last was not a permanent change. I could have sworn I remember pre-game reports saying the Giants were going back to Jacobs as the primary back, with less of a huge gap in carries. Oh well.
At any rate, I'd still not sit AP. He was what made Farve look good last year, not the other way around. AP was beastmode way before that, and he did that with Tavaris Jackson and no passing game, facing 8 in the box all day. And he's averaging over 5ypc in his last three games, including a big time loss at GB, a very good D.

Few fantasy ramblings since I'm bored as fuck proctoring a 3 hour exam -_-;
1) Clinched first out of 14 with a 9-5 record. Pretty shocked. Worst part is, I play the #2 team points for (I'm ranked #3 PF). Hate this kid so I better win. 2) Someone dropped Schaub a few weeks ago...what a tard. Picked him up even though I have Peyton...just so noone else can. 3) Fuck Minnesota receivers. Why did I draft Harvin in all my leagues when he has a fucking 3rd string pick up throwing to them..against Chicago. Fuck. Thinking of benching all of them. ;\
Question: I can start 3 of these 4: Mendenhall vs NYJ McFadden vs Den Rice vs NO Stewart vs Ari
Leaning towards the first three but it's a tough choice. Hesitant on Stewart since the Panthers O is so bad..but they're playing the fucking Cardinals. Choices man. If anything, I'd swap Mendenhall out for Stewart. I don't think the Jets will keep playing like they have but who knows.

Just concede defeat to me. It will be easier.
quick, go to yahoo now and you can see a funny goof!! They're dubbing tonight's match up as THE WEST SHOOTOUT with this caption 'California gunslingers Philip Rivers and Alex Smith clash in San Diego with the Chargers' and 49ers' playoff hopes on the line.'
What???
Here he is, primed to take a dump on the proud quarterbacking history of my franchise.

Alex Smith is clearly on par with Philip Rivers, and the Chargers' secondary is clearly as bad as the 49ers'. Shootout indeed! /sarcasm
|
heh
well, i'd not say the niners secondary is bad... def the weak point of the d but overall thats a fairly good unit that would be more than acceptable if the offense didnt leave them on the field 40 minuts agame with 3 and outs all the time
ive already started drinking in prep for a loss WOOOO
