Here a list of estimated market values: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/premier-league/startseite/wettbewerb_GB1.html Which is what I would base it upon, especially when you regard average market value. On a side note, Bremen collapsing and Dortmund marching on and on and on...

Spanish Primera Division: 1. Barcelona: 62 points (2D 1L) goals 71:12 2. Real Madrid: 57 points (3D 2L) goals 53:19 3. Valencia: 47 points (5D 4L) goals 38:25 4. Villarreal: 45 points (3D 6L) goals 41:23 5. Ath Bilbao: 38 points (2D 9L) goals 37:32 English Premier League: 1. Manchester United: 57 points (9D 1L) goals 57:25 2. Arsenal: 53 points (5D 5L) goals 56:27 3. Manchester City: points 49 (7D 6L) goals 43:24 4. Tottenham: points 47(8D 5L) goals 37:28 5. Chelsea: points 45 (6D 7L) goals 46:22 (Granted some teams have played less games than others, but even if you take those into account the difference can't be as big even if they were to get max points.) The EPL is a lot more competitive, why it's the best league. And who cares who is better on paper and how a team *should* perform. You have to look at how things actually are not how they outta be, hi Liverpool and Schalke.

Then, secondly, how the fuck can you have a market value for VDS when he will retire at the end of the season. And there are plenty of estimated value which I don't have much of a problem since there is no other way, but I think Carrol was sold for 30mil and that to me, is the market value. So when you don't use it, it kind of discredit the whole thing. on a more important note, watching the RM-Lavante game and the commentators say that if RM wins (currently 2-0) then Mourinho will be unbeaten in a home league match for just over 9 years.......

I don't even know where to start, first of all, all the teams in the EPL have a squad list of 25 people (or less) who they submit to the EPL and the rest are U21. How this site determine who is included or not doesn't seem to follow any rule to me. Then, secondly, how the fuck can you have a market value for VDS when he will retire at the end of the season. It is an english appendix of a german site that has been around for quite awhile, the market values are discussed in the forums of them and approved by admins as far as I know. This is of course not a "shopping list" for football teams by any means, just a ressource to be taken with as much criticism as you want. Just a nice numeric basis of discussion rather than throwing out arbitrary statements ![]() Market Value is neither what the players transfer fee has been, nor what you might earn if you transfer him at next opportunity. It's a estimated monetary value for a players value as a asset of a club, taking into concern wages, merchandise value, age, accomplishments, contract length and detail, sportive perspective, yada yada, equal to the value of your car for example. On the current game: The Mourinho stat in pure impressive.
