I honestly have no idea when will be the right time to sell. I imagine there is a huge outsupply of brims from speculators like myself who will try to unload tomorrow when the patch hits, but it is wise to never underestimate the amount of cash that flows into the RMAH when patches hit. I am 100% sure brims will see higher prices than they are going for now, but how much and when? ... duno! | ||

edit: patterns prices droped like a cliff as expected. Vitality ones are as low as 50k already, I'm sure that isn't the case on HC tho heh. Only thing that seemed like it was worth flipping were tomes. But at least the new mini-map icon is sort of noticable. I haven't done any amulets yet, mine are my best pieces on my wiz/dh so holding off until I upgrade my dh shoulders/bracers, but I did about 20 dex shoulders and got one that's exactly a vile ward worth about 20-25mil, pretty nice for crafting. Add to that some good magic find ones for offset mp0 farming and a pair for my monk (who's gear sucks but still upgrade yay) and it's been better than expected. EDIT: just did 2 bracer crafts and upgraded my dh's bracers, dex vit crit armor mf/gf. | ||

The patch notes says that you can get them from Skeleton King Spider Queen Maghda Zoltun Kulle Ghom Cydaea Rakanoth Izual with 5 NV stacks, but that they also drop anywhere, and with 5x the drop chance for designs.... maybe just as well farm act 3 as normal, but add ghom or something at the end of the run? | ||

EDIT: For farming designs, I think the fastest is to do arreat crater 2 -> all the way through to rakanosh. You can get 5 stacks easily before cydaea and rakanosh is only like 5 minutes after her. | ||
