I ban him almost every game that I have the opportunity to. I offer my team the choice between Janna and Taric, though, because I know if someone wants to play Fiddle/Kat they'd much rather me ban the Janna.

Between +50(?) AD to teammates and a 1 hour stun AND being free on top of all that. No reason not to ban.

My problem with him is more that his heal is obnoxious, and his laning power is nasty. As a poking hero player I prefer to take out anti-pokes (Taric, Soraka), and I'm not nearly as bothered by Janna. There's no worse feeling than sauntering into a lane with Kassadin and seeing Soraka or Taric on the other side.

Since I'm pretty sure no one saw my edit because of the page change:

Taric at like 300 hp with 5 people chasing and attacking him while his whole team was half a map away. He tanked / outhealed them for like 30 seconds and then shen ultid him to save him at super low hp and then his teammates arrived and they destroyed them, and the taric didn't die.
btw, I think I should save for nidalee. Feels like she'd fit my playstyle.

I go nashor before guinsoo actually but yeah guinsoo and nashor are both great on Kayle

Taric is my hero heh... so much fun to have people try and gank me or a teammate and just keep dropping heals on them as i auto attack the gankers to keep it going, then just run out of there with my obnoxious amount of life + armor + mr

Why does Riot even have the option to buy five dollars of Riot points? Literally, like nothing you can get with that.

Sivir is like the strongest laner in the game. I can't imagine Kassadin giving her any trouble at all.

Maybe when You buy for X dollars and You have X RP left so if You're missing only small amount of points, so You will spend 5 dollars to get them, instead of charging ur account with another 20 bucks?
|
@kev most likely so people can top off their existing riot points instead of buying A LOT more. Although personally I just always buy in $35 chunks for the extra 500RP... worth it IMHO.

You can get 3 cheap skins if you wait for sales.

Ahahah, I had to do that this morning, I wanted to kill myself. You can manage, though, now that they changed W (zomg!). Yeah, amazing, it actually comes in useful.
I went Q E E W E R, basically I forced her to make a decision between blocking level 1 Q with her shield or being picked to death, and if she blocked it I'd E her to snare (and big damage), activate W and just auto-attack. He actually out-damages Sivir in a standing fight with that LOL.
As soon as I hit 6 it's pretty over because I get two spells to blow away Shield, letting E and autoattacks do their job.
Edit: The Sivir actually asked me after the game what she should have done differently and I really don't know. E being an insta-cast means it's really hard for her to anticipate and shield, and she gets zoned out if she's too afraid of E. At one point I was up like 50 creep kills to 30, because she was having to play so safe against E.

That means you'd need to have spent and ended up with 400 RP for you to benefit at all from the 650 5 dollars gets you. I suppose it can happen, but it sounds to me like the buyer wasn't very good at math!

In the time you were away, Sivir went from one of the strongest laners in the game to one of the most piss-poor, IMO. Hahah.

I play kayle... different waiting for the LoL forums to come up because I think theres no guide on how I play her and if so I"ll post it somewhere but I usually start with E just because it lets me stay defensive and still last hit harass champs that come too far forward.
So I usually go EQWEWR then keep E one level above Q and keep levelling W steadily
I go nashor before guinsoo actually but yeah guinsoo and nashor are both great on Kayle
I like that build too. Nashor before guinsoo is totally legit as well. I've tried Guinsoo -> IE before that was alot of fun. Next time i'll try Nashor -> IE. (You get more the AD -> AP ratio is better than AP -> AD from her passive.
The only reason I level Q first is I usually lane with someone else and at level 1 if they decide to be a hero I can bail them out with a slow. (Also I think Q+melee auto attack does more damage at level 1 then E could be wrong)

Her and Kass haven't changed much as far as I can tell. Boomerang has a really short cooldown, I don't know how Kass would out damage her straight up maybe just auto attacking, but if you eat his spray; his damage is going to be bad after that, because he can't build charges 1v1. The laning phase would have to last awhile before Kass would over take her according to my old school math, but like you said It's been awhile. At any rate, even if Kass gets a kill on her, Sivir should be richer...

So I usually go EQWEWR then keep E one level above Q and keep levelling W steadily I go nashor before guinsoo actually but yeah guinsoo and nashor are both great on Kayle Haha that's closer to how I play her but I like a little differently still. I agree starting with E is best. I like to leave Q at level 1 though because I'm happy with the snare and damage increase it provides at level 1. I don't care about how much damage it deals. Then the decision is between W and E. Obviously if your team needs you to heal, get your W up. Otherwise, getting E up is what will increase your damage the most. By the time team fights start happening, you can have it at level 5 to really do some good damage. And of course, the higher level it is, the more often you can have it up, to the point where at level 5 with some CD reduction you can almost constantly have your E up.
Pretty good for metagame too since, as far as I can tell, people don't expect Kayle to be doing that much DPS at level 10-14. Nobody really makes an effort to stay spread out unless I have some teammates who do good AE damage.

Personally when I take solo mid I just level the snare and the flamesword... her damage output early is insane so with those two you can outdamage almost everything. The heal is more of a crutch and makes her less imposing early on.
