Zlasher is correct about what he says. That's just how the Coast rivalry works in the fighting game community. It's not about where you were born/raised/brought up it's about where you currently live. so if Jinro goes to korea to live and play so he is considered korean and not from Sweden?

Because us fighting game players do something different it isn't right? It isn't a hard concept to understand. If you play fighting games competitively you represent whichever place you live regardless of where you were born, where you learned, or whatever. If Daigo moved to the East Coast and starts going to 5v5s or w/e on the EC team, he's an EC player.

How does east coast have better players though? lol, they might have GROWN better players, but they're not better. Fighting games isn't like Starcraft, Select is seen as a Korean because he was born there, Idra is seen as an American because he's born there, but that is STARCRAFT, in fighting games its where you live and where you reside. Wong lives in socal and isn't going back to NY any time soon, yes he was born and raised in chinatown fair but he is not east coast any more. Marn was on EMP and bred in NYC as well, but he was born in Texas, but guess what, he is a socal player. Demon ninja nailed it.

anywayyyyyyyyyyyyy got some more lab work done today. didn't even know spencer had an overhead until last night. non XF'd mini bio arm followup after overhead is apparently a 1 framer according to the ultradavid/yipes but landing it is dirt ez. spencer overall is dirt easy to learn (as is most of the cast). "hardest" thing about his combos are TK'ing hooks so yea..... he just really needs meter to make ppl respect dat BIONIC AAAAAAAARM. but yea blocked falco punch XFC overhead is da new gimmick yo she hulk/xxx/tron is all types of "wut". post super/slide mix-ups set up some fucked up situations. j.c (which can cross-up, or air grab/tech in which case the flame will put em immediately in blockstun) call tron, command grab call tron (which the flame will whiff and not mess your combo up cuz of animation), AA super. oh and slide assist has to be blocked low so some dirt ez unblockables yo

Just like someone who goes to japan and lives there many years and trains with Japanese in a fighting game? It's different just because it is, I don't get it, are you trying to tell all of them that they're not what they claim to be? They are what they say they are, and justin says he's socal lol, its not a dispute bionic arm, to be the new, and better, falcon punch.

![]() He runs akuma/dante/dormammu(sometimes magneto instead of dorm) and I had been running storm on point but akuma was using his spin kick to lead off the game and unless I got a lucky air s I was losing 70% off her right out the gate, so I swapped in sentinel and he hasn't been able to gib my point man. Let's me injure a lot of his team w/ sent before he dies, dante is more fodder and I usually force him to burn supers to take me out. At this point it's usually either task v 2 moderate health heroes (usually akuma/dorm) and he has burned his xfactor or task v 3 low health heroes with his xfactor burned. Either way I'm sitting on 5 supers and xfactor... just v>MH spam for the win ![]() Once he figures out to use a teleport hero, though I think my reign of terror is over :/ Edit: of to off

In lieu of figuring out something productive, I quickly came up with and played with this troll team for a few matches. It's sure to get you hate mail too! Arthur (knives) / Sentinel (drones) / Morrigan (meter) The key is to go into gold armor mode nonstop--to make this possible, you'll need to spam meter assist a lot. Whenever gold armor ends, burn two meters at the earliest convenience to go back into gold armor! In gold armor mode, use homing crossbow over and over again while jumping up and down. Knives and axes are okay too, but homing crossbow is more trollish. Superjump away whenever possible. With Sentinel on point, spit on them and cancel into fly if necessary to run away. If cornered, superjump and Hard Drive away. With Morrigan on point (hopefully doesn't get to this), go into Astral Vision if meter allows and superjump for some air fireball/flight cancel fireballs! I can't believe I went 5-0 trying this team out, since it's really no good. Or at least the strategy is no good, burning all those meters on naked -> armor -> gold armor. Granted, matches were mostly against very weak players with teams without Wesker, Dante, Wolverine, etc. that may be too difficult to keep away. The part I can believe is that they were all wins by time out. ![]()
