Not to menion Capcom will inevitably come out with Super MvC3 in a year and fix a whole slew of his too much damage/sentinel is retarded complaints. He'll play it, absolutely he'll play it, he was just salty at the time. Yup, pretty much summed it up. I remember back during Devastation last year where they interviewed a lot of MvC 2 players. They all had the same statement that MvC 3 is pretty much TvC, BUT, they admitted that if the money is there, then they'll switch.

Reason MVC3 feels dumbed down is that there was never an arcade release/console exclusive, as opposed to sf4 and mvc1+2

But then again like Brad said SF4 felt pretty scrubish when it came out and turn out the game has as much depth as 3S no doubt. This coming from a die-hard 3S player. One of the things I was looking forward too (well... still am I guess) is the discovery of new techs. I always saw the Marvel series as a very tech heavy game so hopefully we can see new techniques be developed down the road. You know getting a nice list of PSN Names and Gamertags would be sweet. Anyway, happy V-Day *ahem ahem* I mean happy Marvel Day folks.

In fact, you probably can't ever call an assist because if you get punished it's probably over already. Also you can't even use a super or x factor during the whole match since you're gonna want dark phoenix in x-factor. I will admit her dark phoenix form in x-factor is rediculous though but not worth it. Hopefully someone can prove me wrong though. I plan on maining Phoenix in my team. (probably Amaterasu + sent since they don't need to burn meter though sent's questionable as he's not a great battery either) I think as soon as you should just bust out Phoenix because it's pointless waiting for her as an all or nothing card. She can easily take one or two characters without x factor. Her meter gain is ridiculous and I just healing factor every time it's up. PS I actually have a copy and played it for awhile now against people so I'm not talking out of my ass either ^_^. Her main weakness just seems to be that if you get snapbacked into her it's rough. Her TK shot assist recovers very quickly so you can def call it and it's actually pretty good.

She actually gains meter pretty slowly relative to other characetrs, and COULD take out one or two but is more likely to take out 25% and get killed. There are more solidly built teams that disclude phoenix, she's sorta the equivalent of rolling a die as sometimes she'll pay off most times she wont, and there are so many viable characters in MvC3 that in the end she's not worth it, at least not in the current state of the game.

Hm, you say this like these aren't related. You think those 8 hours of training played no part in learning the 'retarded stuff' in 2-3 hours? If he hadn't spent all those hours in MvC2 training, it would probably take him much longer to learn that stuff in mvc3... never played the game tho so i have no idea wat im doing about :0
