I joined a server with only 2 players online because I wanted to get some flying training with the helicopters. Both players had a pretty high rank (47 and 49); however, neither of them ever joined the battle but (I guess) stayed in the kit selection screen all game long. This went on for a couple of rounds (other real players joined, some games were won, some were lost) until I left. Did these guys just "park" their soldiers there to grab the points for a victory and possibly the best squad pid? Do people in the kit selection screen get points at all? | ||

I miss those heh, that's the one thing that's really been missing in every incarnation since then. i miss those big plane maps, i loved them... I forget the one on '42, but you started out across a bay at a nazi airport and had to bomb out four radio towers and a factory. Coolest. Map. Ever. Most we get now is a ground-heavy armor group with a chopper or two per side. | ||

Holy crap, I was hearing stories of how butthurt they were about this whole Hastings thing but I thought it was exaggeration. So I went there, holy freaking crap. The console kids there are beyond butthurt. They are fucking raging, setting up entire polls of "DID PC CHEAT? SHOULD DICE REVERT THE COMPETITION SO THAT WE CAN HAVE A FAIR CHANCE?!" and crap like that. They genuinely believe that the PC only had entire 32 man 24/7 boosting servers full of people shooting each other and medics constant healing to boost up that fast. They genuinely believe that it is impossible for someone to get it that fast. I've played BC2 on console, it's like playing CoD with these idiots. No one drops ammo, no one repairs, no one drops med kits, no one spots. That's why the consoles aren't getting it faster, not because of freaking cheats. To top it all off, all these rant threads are full of kids going "PC GAMERS HAVE NO LIVES, THEY SPEND 3,000$ ON PC'S JUST TO RUN MODERN GAMES. STOP ACTING LIKE YOU SAVE SO MUCH MONEY WHEN NEW CARDS COME OUT EVERY MONTH THAT YOU HAVE TO UPDATE" fwejofijaepfaejwpfewjaoifaeowfjo How are people so stupid. I know it's predominately trolls, but there are regulars there that BELIEVE THIS STUFF | ||
