And why do you do all your laddering on your barcode account instead of Scarlett? i played very on-and-off since beginning last april . i think i have played maybe 2000 1v1s in total so less than 10/day average (meaning 1-2hours a day average since i start playing?) and watch top zerg streams if i see them on (stephano/nerchio/idra) i got into gm at start of season 3 (not sure how long season 2 was in which i started playing) - so was within a few months - maybe 500 1v1 games i started playing on barcode account and disabled messages to it and had 0 friends because i wanted an account where i could just ladder and relax without anyone messaging me (i get many messages on my main account) - i guess i need to get new smurf now ^__^ Wow... Bronze to GM in 500 games? That is an incredible amount of natural talent. i had watched some sc2 before i started playing and had played a tiny bit of sc1 before long time ago (only with friends on LAN - very low level) - and won 5-0 placement so i started diamond actually 7pooled to master in about a week because i wanted to start working on macro play from there ^______^ what the actual fuck. How does anyone 5 - 0 their placement matches without even having played BW seriously? I am gobsmacked. Seriously, how were you able to get your mechanics to that level without playing? understanding strats etc from watching games makes sense but the physical ability to get your APM, macro etc to a diamond level without practicing *at all* is insane. I know you might be reluctant to since it might seem like bragging but I'm sure we're all curious - could you shed a little light on how you think you were able to play so well straight away and improve so rapidly?
She 7pooled to masters league, I'm just assuming she 7pooled her placement matches as well, since that's part of the journey to masters. Obviously, she could've just been naturally good and I'm totally wrong.

Well she was apparently pretty good at DOTA which I guess is kinda RTS experience. That + watching a bit of sc2 first + a lot of natural talent and it seems normal enough. ^^

Since MKP is your favorite progamer have you ever considered switching to Terran? How good is your offrace? ^^ i played like 20-30 games on wc3 ladder and a tiny bit of sc1 on LAN with friends mostly long ago (and more since i started playing sc2) but was not any good at either because i only was doing for fun. i played many wc3 customs / some bw customs in past before starting sc2 though
i have always and will always play zerg ; never really considered switching other than maybe 1 point when neural was getting hardcore nerfed (no massive) but that was me just being silly ><
my offraces are maybe mid-low master other than cheese; which i am pretty good at (top8 master level)

You seem to improve at a faster rate then even former BW pros. Its just so unbelievable... i copied what i saw from zerg streams/ a few gsl games mostly; and changed parts of my build/play whenever i lost badly to some strat. i dont think i improve faster than ex-BW pros though, lol ><

i go about 50% vs oGsVINES, iSjEcho (he is very good zerg though i think his zvt opening is pretty silly), TSLHyuN, coLMinigun(though i havnt played him in awhile; he give me trouble because of his very unorthodox PvZ styles i had no practice against) ..
my zvz is just weak in general so other top NA ladder zergs are favoured against me i feel

Sometimes the 5 placement matches aren't difficult. I did like the exact same thing when I started. I went 5-0 in placement matches and I had only played casually Starcraft with friends and used zero hotkeys (I never went past 2 base though because I couldn't spend my money fast enough on 2 base XD). It didn't mean I was amazing it meant the players I faced sucked. It's WAY more impressive all the hard work it took to go from there to grandmaster in a short period.
Edit: Damn it I keep posting right after she answers the question!!! XD

i might start playing some playhem dailies/ or other online tournaments soon though my next big LAN will probably be MLG Anaheim (i will also most likely attend NASL s3 finals as spectator if i can ^__^ and anyone from Ontario can meet me there)

So Scarlet we know a bunch of people have probably talked to you from different teams management, are you able to shed some light to us as to what teams may have expressed some interest even just minor, I understand the offers should be private that each team gives but would love to know what teams approached you, really hoping for a top foreign team :D

So you steal everything from Stephano (who steals from his cousin). I do see a pattern here .
Question: What do you think is underused in current zerg play? Something that you like to do a lot, but others don't. Can be matchup specific.
