Sorry if I am asking too much but your underdog/Cinderella story is just awesome. I am quite STCurious.

yes it is quite surreal and made the event much different than i expected - just a few minutes ago squirtle walked by and nodded his head and waved to me

my family does know about this and they are very supportive ^^

And why do you do all your laddering on your barcode account instead of Scarlett?

i played very on-and-off since beginning last april . i think i have played maybe 2000 1v1s in total so less than 10/day average (meaning 1-2hours a day average since i start playing?) and watch top zerg streams if i see them on (stephano/nerchio/idra)

i got into gm at start of season 3 (not sure how long season 2 was in which i started playing) - so was within a few months - maybe 500 1v1 games

i started playing on barcode account and disabled messages to it and had 0 friends because i wanted an account where i could just ladder and relax without anyone messaging me (i get many messages on my main account) - i guess i need to get new smurf now ^__^

Wow... Bronze to GM in 500 games? That is an incredible amount of natural talent.

i had watched some sc2 before i started playing and had played a tiny bit of sc1 before long time ago (only with friends on LAN - very low level) - and won 5-0 placement so i started diamond

actually 7pooled to master in about a week because i wanted to start working on macro play from there ^______^

LOL Not everyone starts off at bronze. I'm sure she placed in some higher league. I'm way worse than her, but when I started Starcraft 2 for the first time (with only extremely casual Warcraft 3 and Starcraft experience from when I was 12-15) I immediately made platinum.

Edit: Damn she beat me to the punch :D

Did you have any prior RTS experience before SC2? Or just DOTA?

Since MKP is your favorite progamer have you ever considered switching to Terran? How good is your offrace? ^^

How exactly did you approach the game though, like did you try out the same stuff over and over again and checked when it does work and when not or were you just doing random stuff and if it doesn't work you try out the next strategy? You seem to improve at a faster rate then even former BW pros. Its just so unbelievable...

I never actually considered that. I just assumed that someone who had never played the game before would start off in bronze, even if they move out of it really fast once they learn basic mechanics and what units do and such.

Edit: Ah, never mind then! Bad assumption on my part. Still very impressive!

What players that you run into on NA ladder give you the hardest time, if any? If you can think of any, why?

wow that is seriously inspirational. I assumed you were a good BW player before SC2.
I had no RTS before SC2 and i was damn proud to get into master. I need to seriously step it up.

Your so awsome Scarlett :D

How much do you use drop in ZvP? I was watching game 3 against Oz and really think you could of won that game had you got drop tech and just dropped some roaches behind each mineral line while pressing the front with the rest of your army
This trades really well and gives you the time to tech to brood infester
Its a really strong counter when you are forced into roach hydra play early on to hold off immortal sentry pushes

what the actual fuck. How does anyone 5 - 0 their placement matches without even having played BW seriously? I am gobsmacked. Seriously, how were you able to get your mechanics to that level without playing? understanding strats etc from watching games makes sense but the physical ability to get your APM, macro etc to a diamond level without practicing *at all* is insane. I know you might be reluctant to since it might seem like bragging but I'm sure we're all curious - could you shed a little light on how you think you were able to play so well straight away and improve so rapidly?
