How many girls attended any given NASL or GSL game? Now compare to how many girls attend a proleague or an OSL game.
Whether or not Lindsey is hot is besides the point, though it certainly doesn't hurt. The main thing is that she belongs to a demographic beyond the typical 'middle-class, nerdy, terribad with women, male.' We absolutely need this if we ever want this whole professional video games thing to become socially acceptable.
I think the main thing is that this type of appeal would probably just draw in more 'nerdy middle-class' sexually deprived males into E-sports, thus starving out the female percentage of starcraft even more.
The point is, high level video gaming has been and almost certainly will be an male-dominated activity, and no amount of cheap female imaging will change that.

Your points are really bad, however I see your heart is in the right place.
She didn't attend, she was working.
There are lots of other girls who did attend, and what about Uncontrollable.... she doesn't even have a fan club and she's a Miss Oregon who has been around the scene for months.
You don't need to apologize or explain why you like Lindsay Sporrer. If anyone doesn't like the fact that she literally enchanted the SC2 community... thats tough luck for them. She did... look at the Reddit/TL/Twitter everything... she took over.
Rare and exceptional things are to be admired. Fans pick out the "best" to be a "fan" of....its all subjective.
No need for faulty logic trying to explain why boys/men/people get smitten.
I'll know in a couple days what my next involvement will be. They liked the community's suggestion to stream it when I 1st start playing, so I'm supposed to wait to play until they can capture every embarrassing moment I'm hoping that might help others who are interested in learning SC2.
I hope she will stream her first steps in sc2, it will be so entertaining
Awesome! So she is going to need an ingame ID.... any ideas guys?

People like what they like...
Whether she was attending or working is irrelevant - presence is enough. Miss Oregon would probably have a fan club if someone started a thread; I'd probably join that fan club for shits and giggles. You're right, I don't need to apologize; good thing I didn't.
Also, if my points are bad (they aren't), then you should probably provide a counter argument. But seeing as how you didn't, I'm going to disregard that.

I'm afraid of her being thrown into the public sc2 scene. Alot of immature fools around. Could lead to a bad experience of spam and wierd ass shit she may be exposed too.
I think blizzard should add a new master's division "Sporre Crawler" Only her most loyal and favored fans could be promote to sporre masters.
BTW add me to this fanclub cause this fanclub is legit JOKES!
She definitely made NASL's last 2 days much better. Seriously, her going around throwing random interviews was great to watch during the lame hour long breaks.
Yes I do hope she doesn't get spammed by dumb kids if she starts streaming. That's why it's important to show her this side of the community and assure her she is welcome.
