There here was some master, and I think at least one GM (well acording to the very reliable source that is Twitch chat)
Just go to show you the gap between the pro scene and the rest of the player.

Does anyone know what Nerchio is up to nowadays? I haven't heard about him retiring but I don't see him participating in any tournaments anymore.
Also his twitter seems quiet....

Yeah, but I feel he has been on the way out for some time before disappearing... Sure one of the most prominent foreign sc2 players, but I feel it is over and out for him.
Also, he was always playing in the go4sc2 cups. If he was still active chances are that he would participate in the weekly cups... Which he does not.

He played in the first two ESL cups this year. In the first one he even beat uThermal made it to quarterfinals.

But since January he didn't play anything online it seems. Hope he still manages some deep run in a tournament one day!

Any news on him ? He was one of the best promises of the LoTV foreign scene during the roach ultralisk era.

I noticed this on his Twitter today:

Retired number one starcraft 2 player in Poland.

So I guess that counts as an official retirement now.

My favourite player for years. In spite of all his successes, I always thought he could achieve even more as he never seemed to me to be less talented than Stephano (except for mentality). If he was still around, he could be on a similar level to Showtime and Heromarine.

Well, all the best to him.
