Gratz to Nerchio. nice tournament. Grats to Nerchio. But I don't think korean pros only play in GSL format. Actually, I think OSL/GSL are the only tournaments in korea that has this drawn out format. But GSL is most exposed to foreigners. There are many other qualifier tournaments, ESVs, etc which are weekend/1 day events.

So going to foreign tournaments helps so much for experience, exposure and prize money.

who would have thought it'd be Nerchio to come out on top when looking at the lineup? everyone that look a the result and not just the names. nerchio and MC was my 2 finalist pick before it started. note : I was sure that MVP didn't make it out of the first pool stage, I was wrong, but he didnt make it out the second pool stage. Nerchio was second in ELO ranking before, (non-korean) it was obvious that he will have a shoot at the title. TBH, after the first pool stage, he was my favorite to win, but i was expecting a final against MC and a much more balanced one. Since the bracket don't allow a final against MC, the winner of the semi MC vs Nerchio already wins the tournamment. so I stop looking at HSC after this match. (I hate the HSC ad' and got lot of other stuff to do) private joke : the real question is who is enough a brainless fanboy to think that MVP could win that. ahahaha.

This was the match with the Evo block, random double Roach Warren and the unintentional all in blind counter, right? Not bad indeed ![]()
