I totally understand you man, it's really ok; take it easy; let's just take this one step at a time. There's a solution for everything. We got this.
First, let's see the facts; what do we have here, analyze the situation a lil' bit.
to be honest i dont think this game before Lotv is for me
1. You didn't play for like, what, a year --and then suddenly restart and boom! top 25 grandmaster? Please. That's fuckin skill. Do NOT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM YOURSELF. Give yourself credit, where credit is due.
Widowmine / medivacs being totally ridiculous
2. Early wm drops in mineral line are the new shit, so everyone and their mother is doing it, cuz "ayyy lmao iz fun". Zerg has the same problem, and it is indeed so very annoying. To counter this , in PvT just adapt your builds for an earlier than usual detection method, earlier than what you are used from last year, or you are going to lose probes. I mean you're the progamer, you know much better - photon cannon in mineral line, or just observer - whatever, you know what to do. It's annoying yes, but doable.
not tweaking swarmhost
3. SH. It's difficult for everyone who plays protoss, really.
First of all, here's a nice game that shows how cj entus herO recently won a game vs Curious's SH. Very challenging for herO as well, as we can see, but he managed. + Show Spoiler +
Second, you probably want to avoid a situation where everyone you meet on ladder is trolling you with like fifty fuckin swarmhost every game because they know it's you, they know you hate swarmhosts and they know you will have a twitter reaction about them; so you might want to avoid that situation and use, like, a name change or whatever, or change the barcode account to another and name it IIIIIII with no clan, or play on KR.
Third, try to do custom games with someone that's really damn good with SH where you agree both that you will go to endgame for practice purposes, and just literally push through and play nothing but that for i dunno, an entire day? Snute comes to mind, he has put top koreans to shame with his SH game.
Fourth, surely you must have access to a lot of Korean progamers or maybe Korean coaches in your circles that are nice and helpful? Just contact them for advice, or send some replays to their coaches for analysis, i mean you can choose to be proactive about this inconvenience.
Sorry for raising your hopes
You don't owe anyone anything, ultimately the idea is that you should have fun with the game.. LOTV will not come for i dunno, aug-september or something? Why not get back slowly into competitive mode and earn some good $$ until then, you got the skills and everything. You know you're not the quitter type, cmon. It's just tougher times vs terran nowadays for the other two races and everyone has these difficulties.
edit -- In Proleague Dear just won vs Life's SH, check that out in today's VoDs!
Its really sad to hear but I completely understand your reaction Johan. Just take it easy, dont worry youre not disappointing us, it would still be really cool to see you play - no matter how it goes. I will stay around and check the qualifiers for if you are to join today.
I really hope LoTV brings the changes we all are waiting for, if not, fuck this game.
Naniwa is a very stylistic player. He plays to win but he seems to have a preconceived idea of how he should win games. Now, we all know that SH forces protoss to really adapt in order to beat it, just like mech does, and maybe Naniwa just can't get himself to go to these lengths to defeat it.

I think Nani has a little bit of a chance to qualify on this 7 sets . But he's not player to count he's chances on just QUALIFER to CHALLANGER , so decision should of been agreed and respected by fans
NOOO! NANI! Stay here until LOTV because you must be in tip top shape when it gets here, and we can't make it without you!!!!! OMG..... I need you man My name is even Johan aswell.. I don't even.. I.. Foreing hope FOREVER!

i mean nobody said it was easy, its just hard work, surely he knows it right? SH are difficult for everyone after all.
Firstly Naniwa says he only watches replays 1x so hes not gonna spend 40 minutes analyzing replays to beat Swarmhost.
Secondly EU swarmhost style>Kr swarmhost stylestyle. herO manages to beat Curious by a hairstrand(which was thrown btw) yet he manages to lose to snute in a series who naniwa probably plays every other game. Or when Starbuck beats korean protoss including prime Dear using swarmhost. Theres a reason why San is the best pvzer. Its because he all ins most of the time.
Thirdly if doesnt like playing vs swarmhost hes not gonna find a way to magically enjoy playing vs them bebecause thats the meta on europe. He will just quit his pvz or flat out quit.
Sad to see you go NaNi I would be rooting for you in legacy of void and hopefully that game will be much much better and save starcraft2.
@xtorn, I think you dont understand what problems he is talking. Unfortunately it doesnt matter that you can adapt pretty well vs wm or sh or msc or tempest, they are infinite annoying units to play against forever.

If playing is only negative for you then you shouldnt play. But if you are just "annoyed" right now, but still like it more than you dislike perhaps just playing the qualifiers out for fun might be a good thing. Just playing even though you dislike certain parts of the game might be good for not getting too "rusty" when LoTV comes out. GL!!! if you participate and play hots. If not, then Take care, regroup and come back to LoTV, with an insane passion!
Good part is that you no longer have any pressure! Nothing to lose ^.^ Nobody has high expectations on you a part from yourself right now, your fans will be happy to just see you play in a qualifier no matter if you lose or win!
Gogo Nani! Hope you find a way to have fun in the game, even against swarm hosts! I've seen herO make zergs hate themselves for going swarm hosts so there might be ways to punish them
I'm disappoint you don't participate on WCS qualifier. I always accept your choices Nani but I was so happy when I read your comeback and trial for WCS I hope you will find motivation for an other round of qualifier or maybe later. Good luck !
